Marissa Jaret Winokur and Judah Miller Welcome Zev Isaac

Marissajaretwinokur_barry_9325610_m Broadway star and DWtS alum Marissa Jaret Winokur and her husband, King of the Hill writer Judah Miller have welcomed their first child. Marissa’s surrogate gave birth to son Zev Isaac Miller on Tuesday, July 22nd. He weighed 8 lbs, 7 oz and was 21 inches long. The new mom shared that "he’s got a Winokur face and a Miller body," tearfully adding that "my little miracle baby is here and I can’t believe it."

I can’t believe I am sitting here next to my baby. This is the one thing that’s been missing from our lives. Now our house is really going to be a home.

Since a bout with cervical cancer seven years ago required removal of her uterus and part of her cervix, the 35-year-old Hairspray actresscould not carry the baby herself. However, her ovaries remained inworking order, and Marissa shared that Zev is her and Judah’sbiological child.

The couple announced the pregnancy in March, with the sex and name of the baby — which means ‘wolf’ in Hebrew — revealed later that month. In June, Marissa celebrated her baby shower, using the opportunity to promote the digene HPV test, which helps detect abnormal cells that can lead to cervical cancer.
