"I just LOVE him and love the fact that he has turned into such a wonderful actor, partner and father. Good for him. The pic with the two of them together just melts my heart. My hubby looks at me like that still and I treasure it because some women wish they could find a good man who will still look at them the same way they did years before."

"If you ask Violet what I do, she'll say she remembers me bowing on stage when I did a show in New York, and so she'll say, 'My mom sometimes will bow on stage and sometimes she gets her hair and makeup done.' It's a great job!"

Tooth Tissues: Dental wipes for baby and toddler smiles

Dsc_3835 We are lucky that our 3-year-old is a big fan of brushing her teeth and even lets us brush them for her when she is done, but I will admit that there are many nights when she falls asleep before we’ve had a chance to brush her teeth before bedtime. This is particularly worrisome on days when we have been out, usually at someone’s home, where many sweets and treats were consumed and she falls asleep in the car before we get home. It bothers me to know she fell asleep with all that sugar in her mouth, but like most parents, I’d never dare wake her up just to have her brush the germs away (and then remain awake for the next six hours, no doubt).

I was happy to discover Tooth Tissues, disposable dental wipes designed specifically for infants and toddlers. Created by two dentists (who are also parents), Tooth Tissues are unflavored, leave no sticky residue on fingers or teeth and are 99% natural (paraben free). The textured wipes remove plaque from teeth, gums, tongue and cheeks safely and effectively — even on sleeping children!

When I first opened the Tooth Tissues packet I was a little unnerved because they smelled like baby wipes and I was really hesitant to stick that in my mouth. However, I quickly found that they left no aftertaste whatsoever — a huge plus in my book as I hate anything that is fragrant or artificially flavored.

Because the wipes are textured they really do leave your teeth feeling clean and plaque free. In fact, I brought the wipes to the office with me and soon had everyone there wiping away and commenting on how clean their mouths felt.

Because they are packaged really conveniently (30 wipes in a soft, resealable pouch) I will be buying several of these for each of my diaper bags. I now find that I use them after every meal. It’s kind of like one of those things you think you don’t need but once you try it, you find that you can’t live without it. I especially recommend these for children who are experiencing teething pain since I recently learned at a conference I attended that one of the easiest ways to help teething children is to keep their teeth clean.

You can get Tooth Tissues through Amazon.com, at Whole Foods (in New England only) and through their website at www.toothtissues.com. FREE SHIPPING through the end of July on orders of $20 or more at www.toothtissues.com!

Thanks this is timely for my little one – we are playing tug of war with the tooth brush. She just wants to chew on the bristles.
