"I just LOVE him and love the fact that he has turned into such a wonderful actor, partner and father. Good for him. The pic with the two of them together just melts my heart. My hubby looks at me like that still and I treasure it because some women wish they could find a good man who will still look at them the same way they did years before."

"If you ask Violet what I do, she'll say she remembers me bowing on stage when I did a show in New York, and so she'll say, 'My mom sometimes will bow on stage and sometimes she gets her hair and makeup done.' It's a great job!"

Australia Awaits Birth of James and Erica Packer’s child

Tags: Aussie, Dads

With one of Australia’s favorite couples, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban, already having welcomed a baby this month, the spotlight now turns to power couple James Packer and wife Erica Baxter Packer. Erica made an apparent "dash" to the hospital two weeks ago, which turned out to be just a check up, but there is still no news of the baby, which was said to originally be due in late June.

Sources are now saying that the baby’s due date was closer to mid-July. Australia’s second richest man and his wife are now expected to make their trip to the Mater Hospital in Crows Nest within the next two weeks. With the birth of Sunday Rose Kidman Urban having past, Aussie baby watchers wait for the arrival of the Packer baby.

James is the Executive Chairman of Publishing and Broadcasting and he directs Consolidated Press Holdings Limited. Erica is a model and singer. This will be the first child for the couple, who married in France in June 2007. The pregnancy news was announced in January.

The Packer clan has a new member – a baby daughter born to James Packer and his model wife Erica.

Baby Indigo was born late Sunday afternoon at Sydney’s Mater Hospital, delivered without complications days before her due date, News Ltd reported.

The Mater Hospital, on Sydney’s north shore, declined to comment on the birth.

Mr Packer, son of deceased media baron Kerry, is one of Australia’s wealthiest men.

Earlier this year BRW magazine ranked him the third richest person in the country. The media and gambling mogul holds shares worth $3.4 billion in the Crown gaming company and press group Consolidated Media Holdings.

Mr Packer and Erica Baxter were married in a lavish wedding on the French Riviera in June last year.

The ceremony was attended by a who’s who of the Australian media industry, including fellow mogul Lachlan Murdoch and his wife Sarah, as well as Hollywood star Tom Cruise and wife Katie Holmes.
