"I just LOVE him and love the fact that he has turned into such a wonderful actor, partner and father. Good for him. The pic with the two of them together just melts my heart. My hubby looks at me like that still and I treasure it because some women wish they could find a good man who will still look at them the same way they did years before."

"If you ask Violet what I do, she'll say she remembers me bowing on stage when I did a show in New York, and so she'll say, 'My mom sometimes will bow on stage and sometimes she gets her hair and makeup done.' It's a great job!"

Jessica Alba: No Childhood Acting for Honor

Jessica Alba’s acting career may have brought her fame and fortune, but she doesn’t want the same for 7-week-old daughter Honor Marie — unless she gets her education first.  The 27-year-old actress said that once Honor "finishes college, she can do whatever she wants," adding that an education "is only going to benefit her in whatever she wants to do."  But dad Cash Warren, 29, can understand the pull of Hollywood for kids saying, "I think at some point all little kids express that desire, because they’re so used to being treated like a star."

Honor is the first child for the couple, who were married May 19th of this year.

  1. Roni Says:

I wonder what Jessica will say when Honor says “but Mommy you are an actress” did you finish college? I am sorry you have to teach by example. All movie stars say they don’t want thier kids to be actors.

  2. Jacky Says:

I agree Roni but you also learn by your mistakes. Maybe Jessica wishes she could’ve gone to college as she realizes she would have more opportunities now?

  3. Roni Says:

The thing that gets me the most is they all complain about it but it pays the way for them to get millions for the baby pictures they are featuring in the magazine based on them being an actress in the first place.

  4. k Says:

Roni, I think Jessica would point out that Cash’s father, Michael Warren, was/is an actor (Hill Street Blues and lots of other stuff) and Cash graduated from Yale. So they are teaching from example.

  5. Aelys Says:

Roni, Jessica didn’t say she didn’t want Honor to ever become an actress, just that she didn’t want her to be a child actress. Which I guess is understandable.

  6. carie Says:

I can imagine that’s a pretty typical scenario for many hollywood parents. Your kids want to do it, see you having fun, are too young to understand the non-fun parts.

  7. CelebBabyLover Says:

Roni- Just about everybody complains about their job from time to time! Why shouldn’t actors be allowed to do so (and I want to point out that not all actors/actresses get the “millions” for their baby’s first photos. Angelina and Brad, for example, donated the proceeds from Shiloh’s first photos to charity, and will likely do the same with the twins’ first photos. Some celebs, like Jennifer Garner, don’t even go the magazine cover route at all!)?

Also, it’s not true that “all movie stars say they don’t want their kids to be actors”. Katie Holmes, for example, has said that she will support Suri in whatever her chosen career is. I also believe that Glenn Close recently said that she hopes her daughter becomes an actress.
