Kyle MacLachlan and Desiree Gruber Welcome Callum Lyon
Desperate Housewives and Sex and the City actor Kyle MacLachlan, 49, and his wife, Project Runway executive producer Desiree Gruber, 41, have welcomed their first child. Son Callum Lyon MacLachlan arrived on Friday, July 25th in Los Angeles and weighed in at 8 lbs, 6 oz.
The couple announced the pregnancy in January, and the sex of the baby in April — with Kyle grousing that Desiree wouldn’t consider Jethro as a name option!
Kyle’s latest film, Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2, opens August 6th, while Desiree’s Project Runway airs Wednesday evenings at 9 p.m. on Bravo.

Even though its unusual in the US, Calum is a very common name in Scotland. (the traditional spelling only has one “l”)

It’s ironic to me that he named his son Callum, and his last name is MacLachlan, because my twins are Callum & Mac and my brother-in-law is Lachlan. =)
