Naomi Watts and Sasha’s Soho Stroll
Actress Naomi Watts strolled in downtown NYC on Monday afternoon with son Alexander ‘Sasha’ Pete, who just celebrated his first birthday. Naomi, 39, and Liev Schreiber are said to be expecting their second child in December.

She is definetly pregnant, there is a little bump! She should probably have her baby around the same time as Jennifer Garner.

he’s adorable! Why do you think she named her son Alexander Pete but calls him Sasha? I don’t understand that (not being critical- I just don’t understand!)… if they wanted to call him Sasha, why not name him Sasha? I can see that maybe Alexander was a family name and they wanted to use it, but also wanted him to be called something else? When I have seen this done, I usually see that the middle name is the one that is used. Is Sasha a form of Alexander?

Sasha is the Slavic nickname for Alexander. Liev is Ukrainian and Naomi has explained that’s where the nickname came from.

I love his hair! BTW what’s up with the puse of the lady behind her? Wow!! I could pack everything I own in that thing and it looks like a garbage bag kind of.

LOL – the purse of the lady behind her is a reusable IKEA bag. Love that IKEA, but the bag is a bit big!!!

based on the facial hair i’m pretty sure thats a guy behind her. maybe he just finished shopping??
