"I just LOVE him and love the fact that he has turned into such a wonderful actor, partner and father. Good for him. The pic with the two of them together just melts my heart. My hubby looks at me like that still and I treasure it because some women wish they could find a good man who will still look at them the same way they did years before."

"If you ask Violet what I do, she'll say she remembers me bowing on stage when I did a show in New York, and so she'll say, 'My mom sometimes will bow on stage and sometimes she gets her hair and makeup done.' It's a great job!"

Featured Review: Sesame Street Feet: New Balance Launches Sesame Street Footwear Collection

In this world of licensed characters, it’s not uncommon to see yourkids’ favorite cartoon plastered on every other tee shirt or even diaper. Usually, the addition of the character is an afterthought and easily replacedwith another. So, it was with some trepidation that I awaited theintroduction of New Balance’snew Sesame Street footwear collection this summer, but it turns out, Ihad nothing to fear.

The blending of three of the most popularcharacters, Elmo, Cookie Monster and Oscar the Grouch – with NewBalance’s heritage running shoe – the 574 – is seamless. These are realrunning shoes, not merely rubber-soled vehicles for Dora or Diego. Theycost more than those superstore plastic sneaks, but the premiummaterials like EVA cushioning in the midsole and heel, solid rubberoutsole, and leather translates into comfort, support, and durability.I’m also quite happy to report that these shoes do not light up.

My 23 month old daughter has the Elmo ones and loves them! She is an Elmoholic so these were perfect because they are great for her growing feet!
I hope the come out with other colors especially some to match Abby Cadabby so that way they will be a little more of the girlie colors of Pink and purple!

I agree with Barbara! I noticed the new balance sesame street collection for the first time in Parents magazine and was suprised there werent any girlie colors. Although, my daughter will probably wear them anyways, I love new balance!

I saw these in the mall a few weeks ago and they look awesome! I love New Balance, I want an adult pair of Oscar the Grouch for myself!

  5. Lorus Says:

It’s nice to see a good shoe manufacturer making kids’ shoes with characters on them. All the other character shoes out there are poorly made. I like to buy good quality shoes for my kids’ growing feet!

  6. Vivian Says:

I just wish they had a girly pair for my daughter – I mean Zoey and Rosita are monsters too!

Those are the cutest! I’m not having children for *awhile* but they’re so cute (and I have always loved Sesame Street) I’d probably snag a pair for future use! haha
