I love their photoshoots because they seem very natural, and not staged or dressed up at all. Definately can’t wait to see the little ones. I bet Knox looks like Angie and Vivienne like Brad. Boys tend to favor the mom and girls their Dads.

You know I give them endless kudos for finding a way to temper the paparazzi chase and help millions of people at the same time. $15 million dollars? I can’t even imagine how many people in how many places across the globe are going to benefit from that money. Best yet, no more reason for paparazzi idiots dressing in camoflauge and sneaking on to their property to do God knows what for a picture.

i always had a theory that couples look like each other, which proves it in brangelina’s case because shiloh is a 50 50 mix and brad and angies baby pics are identical even though now they are different. It seems like the twins can only look like shiloh, who is beyond beautiful. But 3 lookalikes, woah!

It’s gonna be really interesting to see how the twins look. I really hope Knox doesn’t look like Angie. Her features don’t translate very well onto a male; James Haven being a case in point.
I hope Knox will look like his father and Vivienne will look like her mother. It would be really lovely if the other children were included in the shoot as well. If they wanted too, that is.

I’ve just read on another site that People will actually be released on Monday like Hello.
Here’s a quote from the article:
“People magazine has scored the U.S. rights to exclusive photos of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s newborn twins, a representative for the magazine told The Associated Press on Friday.
The magazine will feature Vivienne Marcheline and Knox Leon, in its Monday issue, People spokeswoman Nancy Valentino said Friday.
“We’re thrilled to be able to feature these pictures in People,” said managing editor Larry Hackett in a statement. “They will delight our readers who have followed the growth of the Jolie-Pitt family.”

I understand being curious about the new Jolie-Pitt babies, but some comments are too much…i mean, saying that it will be the best birthday gift…to see a pictures of the twins?…..weird.

Why am I not surprised by comments by some wondering why some are excited? I am very much looking forward to seeing the new babies. I don’t consider this family to be gods,and I find that insulting. It is like some don’t like the family and so can’t understand why others do, so they have to be snarky.
Btw, I am not a fan of the Afflecks, Garner’s pregnancy does not interest me, but I know it excites others so I would never criticize anyone who might be looking forward to their new bundle of joy. No need to insult others by claiming we “worship” this family.

Odd, I could have sworn I have read others saying that a pic of Violet Affleck made their day..Or some saying seeing a pic of Suri was very welcomed as they were going through Suri withdrawal. I might not agree with these sentiments, but I would never belittle others who did agree.
I love this family! I am not going to defend my being a fan of this family..nor should the many many others who feel as I do.

I agree, Amber. While I am definitely curious to see who the babies look like, the level of hysteria surrounding these babies is just flat-out weird and highly indicative of our culture in general. It has nothing to do with liking or disliking celebrity families and everything to do with the fact that I find it strange how deeply people care about and in some cases plan aspects of their lives around children who are not their own. Stating that one is happy for the family, looking forward to seeing pictures when the time is right, and calmly enjoying them when they do come around is one thing. But there is a sizable group of zealots out there (JustJared being the breeding ground) that seems obsessed with the Jolie-Pitts in a truly unhealthy way. I actually feel bad for Angelina and Brad in that regard; I can’t imagine any parent knowing the literal hysteria surrounding a photo of their newborns and not being disturbed by it.

The only secrecy I am interested in is whether the babies were conceived using IVF or fertility drugs. I read those headlines in the grocery store line-up, and one can’t help but wonder. So yeah, that’s the only secret I want confirmed.
Meanwhile, when the pictures come out, good, our curiousity will be abated, but I do not see the need to flail and jump up and down.

I’m very disappointed that Brad and Angelina have decided to sell their kids pictures to the highest bidder because it reaks exploitation. One day they’re complaining about the press invading their privacy and the next day that willingly agree to put their children on the cover of a magazine that will be distributed all over the world.
This proves that they do not care about their privacy and the next day they complain about how they can’t take the children because of the press I will have no sympathy.
I have so much respect for Halle and other celebrities who refuse to play the game of selling kids pictures for a profit. I don’t care if Brad and Angelina do give the money for charity. They are both very rich people they do not sell their children’s pictures in order to be charitable. I am very disappointed in them.

I will never understand how being happy about the birth of any baby can cause people to belittle others. This world, in many ways, is in pretty bad shape so I say if a picture of a baby makes you smile, jump up and down with glee, run outside with your panties on your head or all of the above I say more power to you. Just for the record, please remember that NLT started the “Brangeloonie” term and talked sarcastically about cult followings and such. It’s so funny, I can’t think of any other couple that sparks so much debate. Every blog you read, people either think they are saints and can’t get enough or they think they are pretentious phonies. I can’t figure out why they cause such responses in people.

I’m not sure understand the hero worship this couple enjoys. It’s easy to donate money to charity when you have so much from sources like selling baby photos. The real heroes are the families that donate money that comes out of their food budgets and any extra they may have. Furthermore, there are many celebrities who donate time and money without alerting the media first.

Why is it if someone is a fan of someone that means we hero worship them? Weird. I admire a lot of things they do. They do a lot of charity that is not well known, and they give of their time as well. I guess that they just fascinate me because you rarely see two people as glamorous and famous as they are who are also so giving, selfless, and down to earth. Hero worship? No.. admiration? Yes!

Surely there were criticisms of those who kept the money..or complaints towards those who gave the money to charity..saying it was soo easy for them to do. SeanJay, in bringing up Violet and Suri I think they were making a point about the double standards people can have.
Violet and Suri were just examples of two adorable celebrity kids that many posters here like just as much as the Jolie-Pitts. However, the people who post on their threads aren’t scrutinized or criticized nearly as frequently as Jolie-Pitt fans.
This is fantastic news, I can’t wait to see the first pictures of Knox and Vivienne. I hope that there is a picture with the whole family included as well – that would be super cute.

I always love seeing celebrities baby pictures, hence why I visit this site lol. And the first baby pics are always great, because everyone is curious in general of what any of the new celebrity babies will look like. That being said I agree with Silv, some of the comments people make about this family is beyond creepy, especially on other sites like justjared or message boards. There were people saying i’m so excited I could barely breath or sleep, um that’s just a little obessive with people you never know. I’m a big salma hayek fan always have been and love seeing pics of her adorable baby, but I can’t imagine saying some of the odd things some of the over the top brad and angelina fans say. And people don’t have to be labeled a hater just because they don’t fawn over this couple. A lot of people like them to an extent just like any other celebrity, just not to the point where every comment is taking so personally lol.

As a reader on JJ what I find reprehensible is the vulgar and hateful comments directed at this family that CCB would not tolerate. There are the J-P fans who feel they have to defend them. It works both ways, so to say JJ is just “obsessive” fans is not true and gives a distorted picture. This is the first celebrity family I have ever followed and my curiosity was peeked because of the negative thrown at them which makes no sense to me. I don’t think they have done any thing worse or better than a lot of people to engender such strong reactions. I still have the People w/ Shiloh and will buy the People and Hello w/ the twins and don’t feel the need to feel bad or defend my decision. I simply like their movies, acting styles and the way they try to live their lives in a fishbowl.

Silvermouse, I can’t wait to hear when Gwen gives birth too. I haven’t seen any pictures of her recently.I hope everything is okay. I agree with other posters that THE Jolie-Pitt family does get attacked more than any other family on this site. I’m even a huge fan but I find myself defending them from attacks because some people are so harsh to them and it’s usually Angelina that gets most of it.

If I had the ability to ensure that millions of dollars went to helping people…um, yeah, I’d take it. Good points Carie. If it’s going to charity, what’s the big deal? How come these same people don’t attack the other celebrities who got paid to pose with their babies on the cover of magazines and didn’t give the money to charity? They are just looking for any reason to attack celebrity parents.

Im really excited to see the family pics.
No one complains when other families of celebs are shown in magazines. We see pics of Melissa Joan Hart’s home and children …other TV stars show us their kid’s nurseries and we hear sometimes blow by blow accounts of pregnancy of stars on this blog. This is a celebrity baby blog!!! That is why I come here. I doubt all those tv stars or c listers don’t get paid to show us their private lives. At the very least, they get publicity for themselves.
Brad and Angelina’s family is hunted and the new babies had a price on their heads…this was a good decision. dont let the paps get rich, but donate to needy children.
One reason why I admire this couple and family so much.

I would never go to another celebrity child’s thread and post how I don’t get the interest in her or him..because that would be RUDE.
Matter of fact, I have never seen anyone post such a remark on any posts other than a JP family thread.
I hope we see pics of the other four children as well.

I can’t believe I just read that. Good lord, do you believe everything you read in the tabloids? Do you really think the J-Ps’ doctor would release such information to anyone, let alone a tabloid, without the J-Ps consent? You do realize, or don’t you, that a doctor who did that would have his license yanked before he knew which end was up? And are you aware that a reporter for that particular tabloid was kicked out of a Brad Pitt press conference a couple of years ago and the tabloid has been running viciously snarky stories about the J-Ps ever since?
My question to you is, why in the world should the way in which Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt conceived their children be of any interest to you or anyone else except the J-P’s themselves and their doctor? “Secrecy” is such a matter is absolutely justified. It’s the most private thing I can possibly imagine, and it’s none of your or anyone else’s business.
End of rant, everybody. I’m looking forward to seeing the photos. I hope at least one of the twins looks like Angie. It wouldn’t be fair if all their children by birth look like Brad.

Sorry, I do think it is rude to insult posters who are fans of certain celeb families. Just because a certain family is “overexposed” doesn’t make it less rude. This whole thing started when a poster expressed excitement over seeing the twins..and some others felt that person was over the top. Then others, quite correctly, noticed other posters have expressed similar reactions to seeing their favorite celeb babies…and that no one ever felt the need to mock those posters.
If you don’t like them..fine, that is your choice, but I see no reason for those who don’t like them to have to state this on a thread about them! Many people do like them. you don’t ..ok, but I don’t want this blog to become a place where posters start insulting others based on likes or dislikes. I have my own likes and dislikes of celebs, but seems a double standard to me. Being the target of paps and cruel and untrue tabloid stories is not the fault of the Jp’s.
I have celebs I don’t like but don’t post on their threads..at least nothing negative. And I certainly never belittle fans of other families. What is the point of that?
This blog is about families..children…innocent babies. Do we really need the negativity?

Not their fault, and the world certainly didn’t stand still for me. Sounds a bit like jealousy. When I get tired of hearing about certain stars, i stay off the internet for a while and stop watching entertainment shows.

The Jolie-Pitt’s are a family..yes they have a lot of attention on them, I am sure they wish they didn’t..but I admire how they handle it all. I know I couldn’t. How they deal with all of the attention and still stay so down to earth and real, amazes me.

I will never understand how being happy about the birth of any baby can cause people to belittle others. This world, in many ways, is in pretty bad shape so I say if a picture of a baby makes you smile, jump up and down with glee, run outside with your panties on your head or all of the above I say more power to you. Take joy anyway you can get it. I’ll be buying my copy of People or Hello as soon as it hits the newstands and if that makes me a Brangeloonie then so be it. I’d rather smile than frown any old day.

I agree, silvermouse. This blog has always been a place where you could read about your fave celeb families and not have to worry about haters. Just because someone doesnt like a certain family, should not mean it is ok to mock and belittle those that do.
this whole conversation started when a poster half jokingly said that seeing the pics would make her birthday( I say halfjoking because she added he he he after her remarks) But even if she wasn’t joking, who cares..that is her feelings and she shouldnt be criticized for expressing happiness at seeing pics of celebrity babies ON A CELEBRITY BABY BLOG.
Then several posts followed belittling that post and even others started commenting on comments by Jp fans ON OTHER BLOGS that were interpreted by a few to be over the top!
I hope this isn’t going to be a trend. Or will it only be allowed on threads about Brad and Angie’s family?

Yes, you or anyone else can come on this site to read about whatever celeb parents you so choose. The issue is people who are “tired” of the Jolie-Pitts, or abhor the coverage of them, etc. and so forth. It begs the question as to why you would take the time to click on a story about them and then post negative views. I don’t like Jennifer Garner, so I never click on the stories regarding her. It’s much easier than clicking on them and posting nasty comments. People should really get a grip.

I’m one of the people, someone complained about, who found a couple comments on another gossip site board a little odd.
I understand being happy about seeing baby photos, I’m curious myself, but some comments ARE a little odd to me:
Someone claimed they burst into tears about finally seeing the photos. At the store tonight while waiting in line another lady says to her friend that she feels like waiting for a picture was like carrying the twins and Sunday night will be like her own personal birth of them when she sees photos. The cashier and friend just gave a look as if to say “alrighty then…”. I have to agree with those looks, I don’t think anyone was expecting that comment when she first opened her mouth..lol!
It’s stuff like that, that makes me wonder sometimes.

I have a former college room mate who has pictures of Suri Cruise on her wall. The woman is obsessed with all things Suri. I find that odd but I would never bring that up on a Suri Cruise thread, not even if an “over the top” poster reminded me of it. Should I change my stance?
The next time I see a post with a certain child of a celeb who is photographed nearly every week to the point I cant stand to see her….should I express that? When I read the countless comments on how supposedly cute this little child is, should I counter it?
Do I really want to be that of which I abhor in others? do we really want this blog to go in this direction?
Maybe we should just learn to respect our differences.

Jen- I agree with you. That comment you heard at the store tonight DOES sound kind of creepy! Don’t get me wrong, I love the J-Ps (in the sense that they are a family I greatly admire) and I cannot wait to see the pics of the twins.
However, I would never say something like that person in the store did. I can’t help but think that Brad and Angie would be feeling a bit creeped out right now if they had heard that!
I also don’t like all the “new messiahs”, “holy twins”, etc. comments (not here on CBB, but on other sites). I am the daughter of a minister (so obviously I’m religious!) and it just bothers me to be seeing people practically worshipping the twins and the whole J-P family. The only one who should be worshipped is God (and I promise you, I am NOT trying to start a religious debat here! I am just stating my opinion!)!

My father gets teary eyed when his favorite football team wins…And pretty darn cranky when they dont. You could say he is obsessed, but I never make fun of him.
My little sister is obsessed with David Archuleta, and cried when she heard his first single recently. I dont get it, but I would never belittle her feelings.
I am a bit obsessed with this celebrity family. The only celebs I have ever been interested in.
So some women find a bit of joy in something you don’t understand..is it really necessary to mock or scorn those who you might not agree with?
I have many interests in my life, the JP family is but one. I dont apologize or feel any shame in it one bit.

I am excited to see the twins, not because I believe that they are more important than other babies, but because I have followed the evolution of the Jolie Pitt clan since Maddox was adopted and then Angelina adopted Zahara and so on. I know that as celebrities that they have nannies and help and money to aid in raising the children, but I give Brad and Angelina credit. They could have after Maddox was adopted stopped adopting and have all natural children as many celebrities do in this day in age. But they have chosen to integrate their family and blend their brood with both biological and adopted children. In doing this, and the charitable work they contribute to throughout many needy countries, they themselves have become citizens of the world and people are genuinely interested in their lives. It is nice for “normal people,” to see that impossible become possible and watching beautiful people do it effortlessy, allows us to relish in stardom as well.

I know people who hardly knew the woman was pregnant let alone with twins! I just yesterday mentioned about the photos being sneaked peaked today to a person who is a fan and quess what? They had no idea that the photo’s had been sold let alone about to be shown, and this person is a serious tv watcher and mag reader. All these people with JP issues amaze me because it’s so much bull. They’re just as interested, they’re on every blog, they’re, in every thread they “seek out and find” anything time Brad & Angie are being discussed all to tell others how there’s too much Brad & Angie being discussed LOL! Shakespheare said it best when he wrote the line “doth protest too much.” Little did he know he was describing future Brangelina critics.

Ok, Brad and Angelina don’t ask for the publicity they get, yeah right! They feed into it somewhat or it wouldn’t happen. The OBgyn’s press conf had to have their approval or it wouldn’t have happened. That’s feeding into it. As for those people who didn’t know she was preggers must live under a rock. You certainly didn’t have to read celeb mags/blogs to hear about it. It was featured many serious newspapers. Now that they are in a fortress in France and the pics are out, maybe things will die down. Anyway,I don’t want this to go on and on so I will stay off this thread and other threads about them.
As I stated before, just because someone expresses their opinion or an observation about them, that’s not necessarily trashing them. I don’t think many people on this thread said anything over the top mean or nasty. There are plenty of nasty websites that trash them if we wanted to do that. I do think it’s great they are giving the money to charity.

The Jolie-Pitt threads are the longest precisely because people can’t control their negative opinions. If you look at most threads you’re hard pressed to get even 20 comments. Unless a thread is about controversy: c-sections, circumcision, nannies, etc/ or a pregnancy announcement. Threads on most celebs here are pretty short. Some never get more than 2-4 comments lol. The threads on the Jolie -Pitts grow and grow. Seems like they’re so compelling even their detractors can’t ignore them!

I’m posting late because I wanted this debate to die down a bit. Reading through all of the posts I did not see any nasty remarks or remarks that came off as bashing. This is a moderated site I don’t think they’d allow it especially Danielle she herself said she’s a bit obsessed with the Jolie-Pitts. I like the way the site is moderated I don’t want this site to become a celebrity love fest where the only comments allowed are the ones that talk about how wonderful they are.
I know there is a psychological reason for celebrity worship but I personally don’t get it. Even as a child and teenager there was no one I was obsessed with. I used to think of people that fawned over celebs as pathetic but then I realized maybe this is filling some void they have and as long as it doesn’t turn into a real mental illness why should I care.
I personally would like to see the pics but CAN wait to see it but what I really like is that they are giving the money to charity.

AND CHARITY CANNOT EXCIST IF YOU ABUSE OTHER PEOPLE’S RIGHTS TO DO IT. Jolie and People magazine have NO EXCUSE for violating kids rights and privacy to donate money to charity. IT IS A CRIME no matter what the ”alleged” reason is. There is no excuse. Jolie can give photographs of herself and Pitt and get money for charity. People magazine can give money from their profits to charities. BUT THERE IS NO MORAL OR EVEN LEGAL EXCUSE FOR ABUSING SOMEONE’S RIGHTS TO GET MONEY FOR CHARITY. Simple as that.
I AM SO SICK OF THE ”MONEY GO TO CHARITY DEBATE”. Who cares? Children’s rights are violated and there is nothing after that.
p.s. and all this assuming that the money indeed go to charities. When we all know they go to Jolie’s foundation. But not my point now. My point is that going to charity is no excuse for violating someone’s rights, especially a baby’s rights that has no voice.

No rumours as to what they look like? That’s quite impressive, actually, considering that there have been photographers and numerous employees who must have seen the photos so far.
I’m looking forward to seeing the photos, but personally I don’t think photos of such young children are the most interesting. It’s not always easy to see who they look more like.

I’m getting a kick out of reading these complaints about the J-Ps are everywhere. You can’t avoid seeing them. They’re always in your face everywhere you look.
This is the wrong forum to complain on. Do something constructive. Write the tabloids and tell them to stop putting them on every single cover. I can promise you, though, that it will be an exercise in futility. The tabs are in business to sell magazines, and the J-Ps sell magazines.
It’s not just magazines. Has anyone else noticed that the long halter dress that Jolie wore as a maternity dress is all over the stores this summer? If nobody wanted to buy it, the stores wouldn’t sell it.
The only thing I can suggest to you is avert your eyes when you pass the newsstands, or just get used to seeing them everywhere you look. They really aren’t that hard on the eyes.

Im not sure if you are just joking, but..Brad and Angie let a lot of things “slide” that come from lying tabloids. And reportedly, Angie told a store clerk in France that they didn’t know the sex of the babies, and didn’t want to know(I read this in People Mag)
Since we have seen birth certificates of both twins,I am pretty sure we will be seeing two babies.

I don’t see why anyone should have a problem with fans being excited to see pictures of the twins or any new borns for that matter.
As a huge fan of the couple, I’m so excited to be able to see the little ones for the first time tonight.
These comments are just our way of showing apprechiation for Brad, Ange and the wonderful work they do, adopting children, giving money to charity etc.
The fact that all this money raised from the photoshoot is just going to charity (the Jolie-Pitt foundation) is just AMAZING. It’s wonderful.
Fans should be allowed to show their apprechiation and excitment at the release of these pictures tonight. =)

The J-Ps let everything slide that is printed by lying tabloids. They choose not to dignify anything they print by commenting on it. They simply do not care what the tabloids say about them. Considering the source of the lies, it’s a sensible position for them to take.

I’m curious about these babies too, especially since they’re twins created from the DNA of two of the most beautiful/sexiest actors in the US, but it’s a mild curiosity. (IMHO Shilo and Knox & Vivianne won’t hit their full beauty potential until their adults, but I’m sure they’re cute kids now nonetheless. lol!)
Anyway CBB will have these pics on the site for the forseeable future? Hopefully it won’t be one of those things where the pics are posted for only a few minutes, until the server crashes or they’re pulled for a copyright violation or something?
15 million is a lot of money indeed. I hope that it goes to several good causes all around the world.

I think that Vivienne is the twin with the darker hair on the left on the Hello cover (like mommy) and that Knox has a lighter complexion, just like daddy!

People magazine put shiloh on the cover too, how cute holding her sister. They look like I expected, a lot like angelina and the voight family, and they favor shiloh too, just with darker hair. But they have the same exact nose and defintley lips as shiloh and angelina.
