Surf’s Up for Beckham Boys as David Wins Award
David Beckham and his three boys — Brooklyn Joseph, 9, Romeo James, 5 ½, and Cruz David, 3 — gathered on stage to accept the surfboard for Choice Male Athlete at the 2008 Teen Choice Awards on Sunday evening. The event was held at the Gibson Amphitheater in Los Angeles, Calif., where soccer star David, 33, beat out fellow athletes Eli Manning, Tiger Woods, LeBron James and Kobe Bryant for the award.

I like seeing pictures of the Beckham boys because they seem to have such different personalities. Like, Brooklyn is the mature big brother, Romeo seems a bit more sensitive/careful and Cruz always looks so confident!

Brooklyn looks so like Victoria when she was younger. If you look at pictures of her as a teenager and earlier, she’s got those lovely chubby cheeks that her eldest son has. Facially, Brooklyn is all his mum. Romeo and Cruz still look all adorable and wide-eyed and are definately more like daddy.

i was there last night and Cruz started break dancing on stage! David had to carry him off the stage and he started to cry. Brooklyn carried the surfboard off the stage and handed it to Victoria haha

AWwwwwwwwww they’re the cutest brothers ever!! Romeo is my fave too.
Personally I think they all favor David more, but I do see Victoria in them

Those boys are all just absolutely gorgeous. Phoebe, you’re right – Brooklyn looks almost identical to a younger Victoria. I saw a childhood pic of her recently and thought, “Wow, she looks just like Brooklyn!”

I usually can’t tell who brooklyn looks like, although I know he has her eyes because his eyes are identical to Victoria’s sister’s daughter (brooklyn’s cousin).

I wonder why they dress alike… Coincidentally, I have seen them wearing the exact same outfit (yellow shirt and jeans) in two different shots and they were not taken on the same day. Well, silly me, but when I saw this picture, I couldn’t help but notice that… Sorry, evryone.

to the mothers w/ kids who are close in age… how old were ur older kids when they didn’t want to dress like their youngest siblings anymore…
my friend has two girls who are EXACTLY 1 year apart (same birthday) and she’s dressed them alike since the second one was older (sonmetimes she’s by opposite colors (one will wear pink and the other purple) but usually it’s same same all day…
but now (they’re 6 and 7) the older one wants to pick her own clothes… my friends thnking it thinking it’s too early and too expensive…
me, while i can understand the expensive part… i say let the kid have her own identity…

I doubt that david and victoria force the boys to dress this way. Anyone with kids over the age of 3 knows that you can’t just force them into wearing things they hate (at least not on a regular basis like the beckham boys). In Spain, where they used to live, it’s very common for siblings to be dressed in the same outfits.
