DC25 Dyson Ball: Hate to Vacuum? Now You Can Have a Ball!
My little boy has been obsessed with vacuums for most of his life. Soobsessed, in fact, that a year ago I wrote to the folks at Dysonand asked how I might purchase one of their kid-sized promotionalvacuums for his upcoming second birthday (we had seen one at a tradeshow). They informed me that they don’t sell those vacuums, but thatthey would send one – at no cost – to my son for his birthday. It waswithout a doubt his favorite gift. And I’ve been jealous of him eversince. So when I had the opportunity to review the new DC25 Dyson Ballall-floors vacuum ($499), you can imagine my excitement. And his! There was noholding us back once that box came through our front door.

no offence to dyson’s but you could tell it was invented/designed by a man because i had to ask a man(my bessie mate)how to use a dyson! no catch/lever you step on to lower the head!!just slam it down with your foot on a regular dyson,(but at least i know why my “un-dyson” vacuum cleaner got broken!)how to empty the dust out(1st time i did that i was just asking what this lever/button did and emptied all the dust on newly cleaned carpet!) etc etc
hey come on you have to “ring it’s neck” to detach the pipe!!
shown once how to operate a dyson i was happy! they are a great vacuum cleaner’s!!
but it doesnt matter what brand your vacuum cleaner is,i found it put all my babies to sleep just like the washing machine!!

My husband (a Brit) had been after me for months to get a Dyson. I kept saying no, saying it was too expensive. After many months, I gave in….and I LOVE IT. It is the best vacuum I have ever owned. Yes, Obscenely expensive but sooo worth it, especially if you get the “animal” models to handle pet hair. We have 2 dogs and 2 cats and it is the best vacuum ever!

I absolutely love ours. We’ve had it for about 3 months now.I’m 7 months pregnant and it doesn’t have me feeling tired and worn out.I love how the attachment works and how it swivels. My 8yr daughter loves to use it as well.It goes to show its kid friendly as well.

I had the basic yellow dyson given to me as a gift….I only found out later its not meant to handle heavy vacuuming and wore out after 2 years in a family with two little girls and a Marine. If your looking for a Dyson make sure you get the one that matches your families needs!

my dyson was the best purchase I have made in years. after having the carpets washed earlier the month I bought it, it still managed to suck up a mound of fine powder dust from the carpet.
this vacuum is amazing!!!

I *love* my Dyson. I’ve always wanted one and my husband wasn’t sure about paying $500 for a vacuum. Or old one partially died and his company was offering a discount at Best Buy so we picked one up for about $100 cheaper. He was actually the first one to use it and was amazed at how much more dust was in the container that our old vacuum didn’t pick up.

We’ve had a few and every single one is far too tall. When I lived with my mum, it was too big for her to even contemplate using. Dysons are good but are too bulky, heavy and tall to be practical.

I just got this a few weeks ago and I am in love with it. The first time I vacuumed it was as if I had never cleaned a day in my life. I previously had a Kenmore that worked great, but after 4 years was not working as it should. The mechanism takes some getting used to, but I am very happy with how it works.
The product is also company warranteed for 5 years.
I got mine at Bed, Bath and Beyond after I got a 20% off coupon in the mail, paying $400.

I have this vacuum. I resisted spending that much money on a Dyson, but it was worth every penny! I got a facotry reconditioned model on Amazon.com.. it was brand new!

We have this vacuum and it is great, but I’m way too frugal to pay so much money for it. My husband works for Best Buy and it was offered to employees for a limited time at $199 including shipping and handling, so that’s how we got ours.
