I have been checking this site every hour hoping for an update on her! I was beginning to wonder if she was still pregnant or not. Poor Gwen! She looks miserable! I know I was in my last month of pregnancy. Best of luck to them and I can’t WAIT to hear the news of their newest addition!

I was in her same position with my 2nd pregnancy, 40 weeks in mid August… and boy, was it uncomfortable… I was constantly sweating and my feet were honestly twice as big as normal.
I feel for her.

It doesn’t look to me like the baby has dropped yet. I think she still has a week or so to go unless she is doing a scheduled c-section. I feel for her.

Yay! I wondered too if she had pulled off the impossible and given birth without anyone knowing. I’m sure if we feel she has been pregnant forever that she feels it has been twice as long!
I wouldn’t want to go out in August 9 months pregnant either. Maybe that is why she has been staying in? Best of luck!

I’ve been popping in each day too to see if she’s had this baby! Glad there is an update though and everything seems okay. It seems like she’s been pregnant forever!!! She looks ready to pop anyday. I’m saying there will be a baby by this weekend!! And for some reason I have a feeling she’s gone past her duedate hehe! She just has the look of “okay I’m done with pregnancy already!”

I’m curious as to how her belly can “look like a boy”…? Ladies, don’t believe all of those old wives tales.
I really feel for her… how uncomfortable must it be to be 9 months pregnant in the dead of summer? I think she’ll have another c-section, because she had Kingston that way only two years ago and (correct me if I’m wrong) don’t docs usually like to wait a bit longer than that before trying a VBAC?
And I too think it would be sweet if she had a baby girl, only because she already has a son. But another boy would be just as precious. Can’t wait to see what they name this little one. =]

I had been wondering about her, thanks for posting this. I was pregnant and huge, due in August, two years in a row and it was not fun. If we have another, I’ll definitely be attempting to have it in the spring! I can’t wait to see if she has a girl or boy! Kingston is the cutest little boy ever, I’m sure whichever it is will be just as beautiful.

Wow, what a bump! I reckon it’ll be in the next week or so, my Sis-in-Law is due next week and the same size except my SIL’s bump has dropped a lot more than Gwens! Gwen really does look fab though!

This pic makes me realize how unusual it is to see her without makeup and with dark roots showing. Usually she is perfectly made up with bright lipstick and her roots must be touched up at least weekly! Great to see her here, looking like all the rest of us!

I’ve always heard if you want to try a vbac you need to wait until 18 months after you gave birth to get pregnant again. If the baby is due in august that means she got pregnant when Kingston was 18 months. It would be cool if she did have a vbac just because I’ve never heard of a celebrity who has had one. Not very many docs will do them.

I may sound like a Gwen stalker here (which I may be a little), but I think she is 40 weeks this week. According to her initial announcement when she was 13 weeks I was 5 weeks. I am now 32 weeks and she is 8 weeks ahead of me.

Kingston was born on my sisters birthday and I jokingly said this one would come on my birthday – which is the 12th so only next week. maybe I should have put a £5 on it

Has anyone else been told they are huge during a pregnancy and felt like they were going to cry? I have and I would never say it about someone else because I know how it feels and it’s awful. I love how all these posts comment on how Huge she is. She’s pregnant. And how do you all know she’s miserable? Because of One photograph where she may have been caught off guard and isn’t smiling for the camera? I hope you all who posted about how big she is know better than to ever say that to a pregnant woman’s face because it is RUDE.

We have all been worried about her, but at least we know as of Monday she is ok and still pregnant. She looks great for being 9 months pregnant. The last month is the worst and it takes the longest.
I too was pregnant in the summer of 2005 and it is no picnic!

People told me all the time how huge I was and I never took offense to that. I WAS huge. I always agreed with them. It’s not like they were calling me fat, because they weren’t. I was all belly. A BIG belly. I know women’s emotions are all over the place when they are preggers and some can take offense to that, but not all do, because I knew it was about the belly, not me personally.

I thought she had dropped off the end of the earth! I have been google news-ing her everyday to see if she’s gone into hospital yet, and nothing. I thought her due date was mid-July, I remember people saying she was due around the same times as Nicole, Camilla, Angelina etc. I genuinely believed she’d given birth and managed to keep in a secret! I hope she does soon. Still look gorgeous though.

Wow, she must be dying to get that extra fluid off her extremities! She still looks gorgeous though, gotta give her props for that.
And on the whole “boy/girl belly” thing, I had two friends who were preggo at the same time. One carried all over, had a fuller face, and everyone said she was having a girl (she wasn’t finding out the sex). My other friend knew she was having a boy and she carried the “boy” way…only a belly, very little weight gain elsewhere. Guess what? The one with the “girl belly” had a BOY.
It was an even bigger surprise for everyone, though!

Poor gwen she looks so swollen and uncomfortable. The summer is uncomfortable to regular because because of the heat, but imagine when you are carrying around say 40lbs more and are swollen. Summer pregnancies are hard, my friend had her daughter august 24th and she hated being pregnant during the summer. I think gwen will have a girl, looking forward to hearing an annoucement soon, and she still looks good to be so far along.

I was 40 weeks plus NINE days in the middle of July with my first (and no A/C at home). (I had an induction scheduled when I went into labor.) I was pretty big – strangers on the street would ask me if I was having twins. I wasn’t offended but I was too tired to say much in response. Nothing fit at all by that time except one pair of XXL track pants. Boy was I ready for that baby to arrive!

I thought for sure that she had been fortunate enough to have had her baby during the Jolie-Pitt craze and slipped under the radar! I was just waiting to hear some announcement in the “better late than never news”….”late” being a relative term in this case! She looks great though.
It’s always amazing to me, and I’ve been studying obstetrics for many years now, when I see a woman in the final week or so of pregnancy. Suddenly you realize how amazing it is that women’s bodies can do this. EVERY time I see it I think “Goodness the body cannot possibly stretch any more!” But it always does and out comes such an amazing little human being. Even though women look their most miserable and tired during this part of pregnancy I always think they’re the most beautiful because it’s the epitome of how amazing women’s bodies are and what women can do for their children (though labor and delivery is probably a category all to its own!). Can’t wait till hear the happy news!
Side Note: I have to agree with the posts about her dropping though. She still looks a little high. But I-dra’s comment made me look back at the picture and it does look like it might be starting to drop a bit! Good Luck, Gwen! We’re all sending thoughts of strength and a happy delivery!

i’m 35 weeks pregnant and i don’t feel offended at all when people tell me i’m huge. it’s normal, i’m pregnant! and in reality i’ve gained what is considered an average amount for a healthy pregnancy. and of course pregnant women are “huge” – in comparison to their unpregnant selves – it’s beautiful! and gwen looks like a real-life pregnant woman – wonderful!!

“Dropped” refers to when the baby descends into the pelvic area in preparation for birth. The baby is still completely inside the uterus and many times dilation hasn’t even started but it’s normally a sign that the baby is starting to get ready to make its big debut. Although not all babies will “drop” before labor starts, many do, especially if it is the first baby of the mother. I remember when Bridget Moynahan was in her last month of pregnancy I thought her belly dropped dramatically. Hope that helps!

Well with the Twins craze happening, you never know .But I’m pretty sure its one. Angelina Jolie was much bigger than that, and only at 5-6 months along.
