Surf’s Up for Christie Brinkley and son Jack

Since the end of her very public divorce trial and custody battle, supermodel Christie Brinkley has enjoyed a return to normalcy, devoting her time to children Jack Paris, 13, and Sailor Lee, 10. "My kids are so much fun to be around," she says, "and summertime is such a fun time to be with family."

In order to bond with her kids, Christie, 54, is even delving into their hobbies. She shares,

This summer, my son is really into surfing. So I’ve dusted off my old surfboard. And I’m out there with him. I’m mainly getting beat up. Paddling out, when you’ve got a big setcoming, your arms feel like rubber. But you know you’re going to getclobbered if you don’t keep going.

With the divorce proceedings behind her, Christie says, "It’s really great to focus onpositive things, and not have to deal with the negative anymore."
