General Hospital’s Sarah Brown Can’t Believe her Daughter is a Decade Old

Sarah Brown has played numerous characters during her career, but the toughest one is that of single mother to daughter Jordan Alexandra Judith, 10; a job which she describes as "hard, fun, rewarding, challenging." The 33-year-old General Hospital actress can’t believe that her little girl is "a decade," adding that, "I had her very, very, very, very young. Certainly young for my generation." However, Sarah claims she "did it like my parents did it," even if that means, "I’m usually the youngest mom at a school function!"
Although Sarah is no longer with Jordan’s dad, composer Shuki Levy, they do share joint custody and she feels that "it is easier for children when there’s more than one person in their life giving them attention." Considering herself "lucky," Sarah says Jordan is "very involved with her father."

I love Sarah…she was excellent as Carly and she is fantastic as Claudia. She seems like a great mom and mature about being a single mom.
In today’s generation 23 is not considered all that young to have a baby….think of Jamie Lynn&Juno!!!!!11

I can’t believe she’s that old either! It seems like just yesterday they were hiding Carly behind plants and couches to disguise Sarah’s pregnancy.

I love Sarah! She’s such an amazing talent and has done such an awesome job of keeping her daughter out of the spotlight.
I’m so glad she’s back on GH, even if it’s not as Carly. She’s a fantastic Claudia Zacchara. Please stay Sarah!

Erica Ann, I don’t think Jamie Lynn Spears is an accurate marker for median “mom” age of her generation at all–she’d definitely be one of the extremes on the bell curve (like Nancy Grace or Elizabeth Edwards would be at the other end for example.) I totally agree with Sarah’s statement that 22 is relatively young for her generation, but so far she seems like a stellar mom and I think she’s a great actress, so kudos to her!
