More Children Are Possible, Says Donald Trump
In a recent appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman, real estate mogul Donald Trump, 62, hinted that he and Melania Knauss Trump — already parents to 2-year-old Barron William — haven’t ruled out the possibility of having another child together. "I have a wonderful wife who is very capable and who knows, maybe we’ll have a surprise for you," Donald told Dave, "You’ll be the first to know." He added,
Stranger things have happened, so I don’t know…we’ll see what happens.
Donald admitted that — on some level — it must be "a little bit strange" to have a billionaire for a dad. When asked by Dave if his elder four children — Donald Jr., 30, Ivanka, 26, Eric, 24 and Tiffany, 14 — have expressed an interested in their inheritance, Donald was quick to point out that "they really are good kids." "I will kick the bucket, and we’ll see what happens," he said, "but if they behave themselves, they’ll be very happy, probably."

I’ve gotta give Donald this – he seems like a very good dad. All of his children are beautiful and seem so mature. You never hear of Ivanka out partying like Lindsey or Britney. I think he and their mothers have done an awesome job with them.

Donald does seem like a good dad. I’m actually surprised they haven’t had another one by now. Donald is 62 and studies have shown men over 50 have a higher chance of having kids with autism and other stuff. People always think it’s women over 35 that are in danger, but same goes for a man making kids older in age.

I absolutely admire him, for his strength and his skills. I love his show. I like people who just say things as they are.
I hope they will have another one soon if they really want. All the family is great and I’m not really saying that only cause his first wife was from the same country as me

Brooke, I always think about these older men becoming dads and the double standard attached. A 62 year old woman thinking of having another child would be crazy but with a man its like oh why not….im not really a big fan of anyone over 50 becoming a new parent to a small child but thats just my feelings on the matter

I agree I think Donald must be doing something right becaus you never heard about his kids rebelling. Plus his kids don’t just party they have jobs and have gone to college. Him saying that about them possibly having another kid makes me wonder if Melania is already pregnant and they’re just waiting a little longer to make the announcement.
cm-I see your point it is defiantly a double standard men can have kids as old as they want with barely anything said about it.

SeanJay, read the comment. Liv said you don’t see them “just partying,” which means partying and that’s it (a la Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan). Instead, these are kids who went to college and have steady jobs. You don’t see them making out in seedy nightclubs, making out and getting drunk.
It’s not bad to party. It’s fine and a good release for some people. It’s bad when that becomes the only thing you do and you’re using up all of Daddy’s money and have no other income coming in.
Anyway, I’m one of the people who LOVES Donald Trump. He’s brilliant and I adore The Apprentice. He is an amazing father, in my opinion.

I love Donald Trump and all of his children are handsome/pretty and seem to have a good head on their shoulders but I have to be honest. I think it’s unfair for him to father a child at the age of 62. Honestly how far is that to the child and that’s the most important thing. Is he going to be able to spend time with them? I mean sure he definitely can “afford” about a dozen more kids, but once again how fair is it to the child/ren? But if Donald and Melania do decide to have another child then I will be happy for them and wish them the best, and look forward to seeing the new little Trump.

Why is it fair for Melania NOT to have more chilren because Donald is 62? She’s in her 30’s…she should be able to have more children if she wants. Plus, 62 isn’t 80 or anything. He’s not exactly close to the grave. He could have 30 more years left to spend with his kids, or he could have 1 more year left…you don’t know, and if he wants more kids for Barron and his family then he should have them. You only have 1 life.

Does anyone know how many children he has? I wasn’t sure if it was the 5 listed or if there were more and the mothers. Even for a billionaire, you got to admit he’s got to be a pretty good father with or without the money something must be workin’ out if he wants to have more children.
