Milla Jovovich and Ever are Cookie Covergirls
She may be well-known for her star turns in Resident Evil and Dazed and Confused, along with the tough-chick and hippie wardrobes that accompanied the films, but Milla Jovovich goes for a different look entirely in the latest issue of Cookie.
Posing with 9-month-old Ever Gabo, her daughter with director Paul W.S. Anderson, the actress and Jovovich-Hawk designer, 32, wears ultra-feminine tops and simple bottoms, while Ever sports cotton and linen duds. Unfortunately, there’s no interview to go along with the fashion spread, but there are more beautiful photos in the September issue, available on newsstands now.

Hi, I have just commented on an article (Milla Jovovich on Cookie Magazine) – only to find my comment came up edited to take out some of my words.
While I understand that the moderation on this website is very high, and users must conform to your rules and regulations – I am not happy that my comment was edited rather than just not featured.

My daughter is named after Milla Jovavich:) Her father has always loved her and thinks she’s the most beautiful woman, he said he knew he’d feel the same about his daughter. Weird thing is, she had her daughter on my daughter’s due date, so it was fate! She and Ever are just gorgeous!

Is Ever pronounced the way I think it is? I wonder what the story is on her name–anyone know? It is such a lovely and unique and cool sounding name. Both mom and daughter are beautiful.

Yeah, I was wondering about the pronounciation as well. Is it Ever as in ever after, or Ever as in Eva Herzigova? Milla seems like a great mum and her daughter is beautiful.

Yes it’s ever just like the word. This is what Milla said about her name when she was born:
The name Ever is a Scottish boy’s name — Paul has Scottish blood in him (not to mention two tartans in his family!) so we wanted to give her a name that reflected her “Celtic” roots, while her middle name Gabo — pronounced “Gabeau” — is a mixture of my parents names! The first two letters are after my mom’s first name, Galina and the last two letters are after my dad’s first name Bogie!
