"I just LOVE him and love the fact that he has turned into such a wonderful actor, partner and father. Good for him. The pic with the two of them together just melts my heart. My hubby looks at me like that still and I treasure it because some women wish they could find a good man who will still look at them the same way they did years before."

"If you ask Violet what I do, she'll say she remembers me bowing on stage when I did a show in New York, and so she'll say, 'My mom sometimes will bow on stage and sometimes she gets her hair and makeup done.' It's a great job!"

Aussie Mia Freedman Welcomes Third Child, Son Remy

Tags: Aussie, Births

Australian journalist, author, and media personality Mia Freedman and husband Jason Lavigne welcomed their third child together last week. The former editor-in-chief of Cosmo, Cleo and Dolly, 34, posted on her blog that it was a “great birth” and that they are “over the moon.”

The baby boy has been named Remy, a name which older brother Luca, 10, came up with. However, older sister Coco, 3, wasn’t too happy — she wanted to name the baby Nutella! Mia, a frequent blogger, says that she has pre-written a number of posts to go live “while I remember how to get by on very little sleep and make milk.”

The pregnancy was announced in April and Mia answered CBB reader questions in an exclusive interview.

I like the name and bet he came up with the name from Ratatouille, the Pixar movie. I also really like Luca…it was on the short list for our baby, but we’ve discovered she’s a girl. I’m also planning on writing posts ahead for the Ugga Mugga parenting blog for when she arrives in November. Love the way she worded her reasoning! So true!

  2. zaraB Says:

Luca is my very favourite boy’s name, followed by Remy! I like Mia Freedman a lot – I read her column in the Australian Sunday papers every week, and her blog on Essential Baby, and her writing always make me laugh. And I know she reads CBB, so if you’re reading this – congratulations Mia!!! :)

  3. Lisa Says:

Love the name Remy for boy or girl. So funny that her daughter wanted to name the baby nutella!

  4. Caren Says:

Well if they had chosen Nutella he or she could have been best buds with Peanut Rademacher!

  5. anjie Says:
