Taylor Hanson and Wife Expecting Fourth Child
Another Hanson baby is on the way! Middle brother Taylor Hanson and his wife Natalie are expecting their fourth child, they confirm. Natalie, 24, is due this winter with a son, per their rep. Proud dad Taylor, 25, tells PEOPLE,
Each of our kids has made life richer and more exciting. We can’t wait for this guy to jointhe party.
The new arrival will join older siblings Jordan Ezra, 5 ½, Penelope Anne, 3, and River Samuel, 23 months. This will be the seventh child total for the trio of brothers — guitarist Isaac, 27, and his wife Nikki have two boys, Clarke Everett, 16 months, and James Monroe, 7 weeks, while drummer Zac, 22, and his wife Kate have son John Ira Shepherd, 3 months.

Wow, those kids sure keep busy! Congrats to them, and I hope they have a happy and healthy child!
August 18th, 2008 at 8:18 am
Wowww it seems like they have them so constantly but I didn’t realize that Ezra’s already 5 and a half, he’ll be 6 by the time this one’s born. That won’t be SO bad, its like 4 kids under 4 or anything
August 18th, 2008 at 8:22 am
only one girl cousin of the six? i hope this upcoming one is a girl
i know what it was like to be the only girl at family functions!
August 18th, 2008 at 8:23 am
Yay! They finally confirm
Congratulations to the whole family!!
I hope people does not start discussing again about Tay&Nat having ’so many’ kids… They want 5, so there is no point in talking any more about this. They surely love their 3 children and have enough resources to have another 2 as they wish.
Again, congratulations. I hope Natalie has an easy pregnancy and delivery.
CBB: please keep posting about Hanson
August 18th, 2008 at 8:37 am
Congratulations. The Quote by the Hansons “Each of our kids has made life richer and more exciting. We can’t wait for this GUY to join the party.” is making me believe that the baby is a boy.
August 18th, 2008 at 8:38 am
Wow!! Congrats!!!
I hope this baby is a little girl too!!
I hope Natalie gets a little break after this one!! I love that they love having babies! Its so sweet and they really are great with their other three children.
Ah, I’m so excited!
August 18th, 2008 at 8:43 am
hey, they have the means to provide for this big family…..so why not???!!!
)
they are all very grounded for being so young in the entertainment business so i give them kudos!
August 18th, 2008 at 8:51 am
I have been waiting for this one for a few months now! Congrats to Tay, Natalie, Ezra, Penny, and River! I can’t wait to see who the new little one looks like!
August 18th, 2008 at 9:03 am
Peace & Blessing to the entire Hanson family and the beautiful new addition. Strong Family!!
August 18th, 2008 at 9:03 am
Wow, totally wasn’t expecting this but congrats? Have they confirmed it’s a boy or is that just a slip-up (“We can’t wait for this guy”).
Congrats to them! Poor Penelope, the lone girl!
August 18th, 2008 at 10:04 am
Yay for confirmation.
3 Hanson babies in ONE year. Unbelievable!
Congratulations Taylor & Natalie!
August 18th, 2008 at 10:04 am
Stephany, I was thinking the same thing! By “this little guy,” do they mean boy?
Congrats to them!!!
August 18th, 2008 at 10:11 am
Aw, another one! Are they actually still a band or were they dropped by their record company? Because I haven’t heard anything of them for ages!
August 18th, 2008 at 10:35 am
Aw, Congrats! I really enjoy the Hanson coverage on here. Fans have been speculating about this one for a while now. It’s good to have some confirmation.
On another note, I’m fairly sure you have Natalie’s age wrong. If I remember correctly, all three of the boys’ wives are 24.
August 18th, 2008 at 11:09 am
We’ve just heard from their rep that Taylor and Natalie have been told it’s another boy. The post has been updated, but yes, that’s what Taylor meant in his original quote.
August 18th, 2008 at 11:27 am
Wow!! Congrats to them! I really admire them!! being a parent is really hard…and I only have one!! Beautiful Beautiful family…
August 18th, 2008 at 11:50 am
I believe Taylor, Zac and Issac have 4 other siblings, right? Aren’t they themselves from a family of 7 kids from Oklahoma? Seems they are very grateful for the big-family dynamic they grew up in, so they are duplicating it.
August 18th, 2008 at 12:35 pm
Congrats to them!!
If you read the post it says they are ‘due this winter with a son’
For all those wondering if its a boy or girl!!
August 18th, 2008 at 1:02 pm
Mele – it didn’t say that at first, CBB only updated that later on, after the early comments had been made.
August 18th, 2008 at 1:38 pm
I just realized that Natalie is only 24. That means she had her oldest son at like 17 or 18. WOW! They are very young to have so many children. However, they seem happy and that’s really all that counts. Congrats to the both of them!
August 18th, 2008 at 1:51 pm
I don’t know if it’s me but lately it seems like one of the three is always expecting a child haha. Well congrats to them!
August 18th, 2008 at 1:53 pm
WOW! God bless them!
p.s. Are they Mormons?
August 18th, 2008 at 2:11 pm
That was my first thought also, that they are so young but they are still together and seem happy so they must be doing something right. I don’t think 4 kids is that big of a family, I hope to have 4 or 5 myself. Congrats to them!
August 18th, 2008 at 2:57 pm
This is such nice news! I feel like every time I log on here there’s a Hanson expecting or just welcoming a new baby!
Good luck to them. If I had their money I’d have a house full of kids too!
August 18th, 2008 at 3:39 pm
wow. you know it’s crazy I grew up with them and am the same age and it’s so weird seeing people my age with 1 kid let alone 4. Congrats to them though!
August 18th, 2008 at 3:50 pm
Good for them. Having them while they’re young and they really seem to be family oriented!
Congrats!
August 18th, 2008 at 5:22 pm
Did either of them attend college?
August 18th, 2008 at 6:34 pm
EEE! I was just thinking today about how I was hoping for another Hanson baby!
I won’t lie though, I’m sad it’s a boy…lol. I was really hoping for a girl – there’s always next year
..
I love them all and can’t can’t wait to hear the name/see pictures
August 18th, 2008 at 6:37 pm
I love how down to earth all the Hanson brothers are. I remember when Taylor got married..now he has 4 kids. Time goes by fast. Its nice how all the brothers have kids close in age so they all get to grow up together.
August 18th, 2008 at 7:04 pm
Congratulations!
I love big families!!
August 18th, 2008 at 7:26 pm
im i correct that they are from a a very large family themselves so it does not surprise me that they want a big family of their own concrats to them one heck of a family get together
August 18th, 2008 at 7:59 pm
My word, they seem to be a fertile bunch lol. But congratulations to the new addition!
August 18th, 2008 at 8:09 pm
WOWee! 4 kids at 24! I’m 24 and just starting a career… my friends and I are freaking out because our close friend is getting married this year, never mind having her 4th child! I can’t even IMAGINE that! Congrats to them, they are lucky to be able to do so
August 18th, 2008 at 8:30 pm
I am soo happy for them! I have been a huge Hanson fan since I was younger. I always knew they would have big families!
August 18th, 2008 at 9:51 pm
God, these boys need to stop procreating so quickly. They are too young to be doing this. Way too young.
August 18th, 2008 at 9:56 pm
Wow, does that family run high to boys or what? 2020 will be an interesting year, with seven Hanson cousins ranging in age from 12 to 18, and no doubt following in their father’s/uncles’ footsteps. MmmBop in surround sound, anyone?
August 18th, 2008 at 10:22 pm
Those Hanson boys sure are fertile!
August 18th, 2008 at 10:47 pm
Boy, guess they don’t believe in birth control. Congrats I guess.
August 19th, 2008 at 12:02 am
Question– is the Hansen family Mormon?
I am totally not meaning to start a “debate” post– I have just always wondered this about them. Other Mormon families I know have this many children, so I was just curious. Maybe they just like kids.
August 19th, 2008 at 2:10 am
aww poor little Peneolpe 3 brothers & 3 boy cousins & ive got to say WOW 4 kids & 24 my oldest brother is 24 & he just got married in may but if they love those kids (which from all ive heard they do) it doesnt matter

Crystal:
Ezra is 5 1/2 and she is 24. She was ATLEAST 18.5. She may have been 19.

There seems to be a lot of questions about college and what not. Just because someone chooses not to go to college doesn’t mean their life is any less fulfilling. The family is set for life and they have chosen their family’s path. I just recently graduated college and my new husband and I will be starting our family. We are hoping for a family of 6-8 children. I am 23 and he is 32, so our choosing to start right away is simply because we want to enjoy our children while we are young.
August 19th, 2008 at 4:55 am
Ummm, I grew up a huge Hanson fan, loved them since I was 11, I am 23 now and married with a baby of my own, and I couldn’t imagine being the age I am and expecting my 4th baby…. Maybe Taylor and Natalie should consider birth control, and possibly try to and enjoy the 3 children they already have instead of continuously adding more. It’s starting to look like some sort of race with the Hanson brothers to see who can have the most children by 30.
August 19th, 2008 at 6:00 am
oh. my. god. lol!!! they sure must have a ‘loving’ relationship! lol. maybe she wants to have her child rearing days now so they can enjoy couple time later…..anyhow…they make gorgeous kids, cant wait to see this one!!!
August 19th, 2008 at 12:03 pm
Too the person who asked,
No, none of them attended college. In fact, out of all of them, including wives, Zac’s wife is the only one with a college degree.
Natalie got pregnant while she was still in high school.
August 19th, 2008 at 12:04 pm
Gab,
6-8 children? Do you not realize that the world is overpopulated enough as it is? I mean really, thats ridiculous.
August 19th, 2008 at 5:21 pm
Taylor was 19 and Natalie was 18 when she gave birth to ezra, her birthday’s December 28th
August 19th, 2008 at 5:32 pm
I only saw one question asking about college.
August 19th, 2008 at 8:25 pm
Congrats to them!
and yeah i think its confirmed a baby BOY because it says:
Natalie, 24, is due this winter with a SON, per their rep. Proud dad Taylor, 25, tells PEOPLE…
August 19th, 2008 at 11:02 pm
No, they are not Mormons.
August 19th, 2008 at 11:13 pm
Natalie got pregnant in Jan/Feb of her Senior year of High School, and they married as soon as she graduated.
August 20th, 2008 at 5:06 am
Ike has commented sometimes that he would like to attend college someday. Anyway, please remember they started working at a very early age. They already have a carreer so you should no longer see them as kids. Ike is 27!!
They simply come from a large family, are very close to one another and want big families themselves. I see nothing wrong there…
August 20th, 2008 at 6:34 am
Zac himself said in an interview shortly after the birth of his son (I think it was in People) that they (meaning the Hanson family) have no intention of even attempting to follow in the reproductive footsteps of the Osmond family
August 20th, 2008 at 2:26 pm
What does college have to do with anything? I’m sure they can support their children.
Most people go to college to get better jobs to support their children and have a more comfortable life style.
Many people who go into the trades…plumbers, electrician’s etc earn fine livings.
August 23rd, 2008 at 9:08 am
Congratulations to Taylor and Natalie!
I was so happy for them, when I heard they were having another one. They have such a beautiful family, and this will be another beautiful addition. They seem so happy together, and excited about the new baby. I know these two want at least 5, so it’s great news.
August 24th, 2008 at 6:12 am
Sometimes you can actually be more experienced and more intelligent than people that went to college. Especially in their line of work. They have done it all their lives and their parents who did attend college and graduated with masters did school them. College isn’t everything and it doesn’t make anyone nescessarily smarter than someone who chose not to attend. Some people know they aren’t meant for college and choose to start in their careers, and some have already been doing it for years like the Hanson’s. I don’t think we should be judging someone’s lifestyle on whether they have a college degree or not. My Husband is a Career Marine and is more experienced in his line of work than someone who went to college to get it. He might not be able to perform surgery but he can surely tell you how to shoot with accuracy based on his experience as an instructor.
