Brooke Burke And Family Enjoying Some Downtime
Admitting that she "never realized how challenging it was going to be having a family of six," Brooke Burke says that for the first time in her life she is "totally unavailable." The 36-year-old actress and model was able to carve out a few minutes to blog for her Baboosh Baby site recently while enjoying a Hawaiian vacation — it’s a trip Brooke says was "planned just for the kids." Noting that her older daughters Neriah, 8, and Sierra Sky, 6, have "missed out on a lot of fun" since Brooke has "been pregnant most of the last 2-3 years" with her 19-month-old daughter Heaven Rain and 5-month-old son Shaya Braven, Brooke says that the family is "having fun spending our days in the pool, the ocean and lots of water slides."
Shaya is hitting his milestones, and some more pleasant than others. Brooke shares that her son has started solids, is "rolling over all the time" and is "ready to crawl any minute." He’s also "having a hard time" with teething, however. "I am waiting for a tooth to pop out in hopes of his getting through this fussy stage," Brooke writes. As for Rain, Brooke shares that her baby girl "is saying so many words" and that she is "so in love" with her younger brother. From the sound of things, there is plenty of love to go around! Says Brooke,
Neriah is an incredible help at almost nine years old. She is an amazing little mom.
Rain and Shaya are Brooke’s children with fiancé David Charvet; Neriah and Sierra are her daughters with ex-husband Dr. Garth Fisher.

It was just being dicussed in the jason biggs thread about how many kids are considered a lot. Brooke has said in an interview recently that for her personally having 4 kids has been a big challenge. She said she really saw no difference going from 2-3 kids, but that having a 4th especially only 14 months after her 3rd has been a challenge. She even admitted she stopped breastfeeding at 2 months, because it’s hard to have time with 4 different kids and give them all attention. She also said although her body looks good, she is still 10 lbs away from her goal of 115 which is what she weighed before she got pregnant with her 3rd child. I read her blog and she also said that she has come big career news but she can’t say it until august 25th because of a contract, I have a feeling she might be doing dwts because that’s the same day GMA is annoucing the new celebrities for season 7. I hope my instinct is right, would love to see brooke on DWTS.

Brooke rubs me wrong. I don’t know..I just don’t care for her. I think she exagerates the truth and is stuck on herself. Hard to carve out some time? Must be nice to be able to FIND some time while on a Hawaiian vacation.

Brooke would be GREAT in Dancing with the stars!!!
I was wondering were was Brooke and her family we have not seen pictures of them in a while!

I agree with you Bren, she would be so cute to watch on DWTS.
And it seems like alot of new celebrity moms like to do it to get back in top shape. Brooke would definitely lose her leftover baby weight!
Although its also known that DWTS takes them away from their family alot so let’s hope that her husband (David) is ready to take over extra responsabilities.
If that is the big news she is indeed going to announce. I have a feeling that’s it though. Yeah!

I think David is getting ready to have his own busy schedule working on a new film in September but Im sure whatever she is doing she will have plenty of family support. They both have big families to help them!

I doubt her announcement is DWTS. She has 4 children with 2 of them under the age of two. I’m sure her priority would not be a reality TV show that demands so much time and attention away from family.

Yup now i’m almost certain my gut is right, and she is doing dwts. Both ok magazine and in touch said she is, and what a concidence her annoucement will come same day as GMA annouces the new DWTS cast. I think that will be great for her, dwts is usually a good career booster, and it helps you lose whatever extra weight you want too.

Brooke has a beautiful family indeed! I like that she and David are unassuming; each of them seems very likeable too.
As for the DWTS speculation, the news may be true but seeing it on several sites is not a confirmation because the one and only source is gossipsauce as mentionned by OK! and others.

I was right, it was just confirmed she will be on the show. In fact every single person that was rumored from ok magazine and gossipsauce is actually on the show, they were accurate with all 12, just one more person was added which was rocco DiSpirtio lol. I had a feeling brooke would do DWTS, she has a great body for those outfits, has done a lot of shows in the past, and she likes to keep herself busy and always doing something. By the way she is in this week’s in touch magazine in a bikini, and she looks awesome. She said she’s not at her goal of 120 yet, because being older and this being her 4th child is different, but she looks wonderful in that magazine, very thin and such a flat stomach after 4 kids
