Jennifer Garner Finds Pregnancy Speculation Amusing
She kept us guessing for months, but for Jennifer Garner, that was all part of the plan, she tells Access Hollywood. "It always makes me laugh when people say, ‘Isshe?’ ‘Isn’t she?’ It’s like, eventually you will know, so just chillout for a minute!" Hosting the Baby Einstein 10th Anniversary Celebration on Wednesday, the 36-year-old actress confirmed that she is expecting, but declined to reveal a more specific due date or the baby’s sex.
Accepting congratulations on the pregnancy, Jennifer said, "We’re really excited, obviously." When asked about any upcoming projects on her plate, Jennifer pointed to her growing belly, smiled, and replied, "This!"
Her and Ben Affleck’s second child is due this winter. The new baby will join daughter Violet Anne, 2 ½.

LMAO I love Jennifer…I just do–she’s just so darn normal–I loved the “just chill out for a minute” That’s exactly what I think–I mean really do we need some “official” confirmation–it’s not as if she’s keeping it some big secret…lol I love this family…and I absolutely cannot wait to meet Violet’s brother or sister–this is the one pregnancy I am SO excited for…simply because I adore this family and Violet is my absolute favorite! Way to go Jen…you do things your way…

I find it amusing the press was still looking for a confirmation of the pregnancy! It’s pretty obvious she’s pregnant and two friends, Victor Garber and Kevin Smith, had confirmed it. I’m glad she has a sense of humor about the pregnancy rumors. It seems like every other month there was some rumor she was having another baby.

You know, in this era of celebrities calling the paps for staged photo ops, sex tapes, public drunkenness, panty-less departures from limos and other unnecessary overshares, I highly value when a public figure like Jennifer Garner knows how to keep private things PRIVATE.
Kudos to her for not having her life on display and going about her pregnancy with privacy and dignity. I appreciate that she didn’t call a press conference to tell us she was ‘trying’ and then another one as soon as the stick turned blue. And I appreciate her acknowledging that the public does not need to know, and does not have the RIGHT to every aspect of her life.
Paris Hilton, Kim Kardashian, Spencer and Heidi, Nick and Mariah and many, many others…take note: cover up, and SHUT UP.

I wonder if she will slip up like she did when she was pregnant with Violet?? LOL ….. She tried so hard to keep it a secret and an accidental slip of the tongue and it was over ….. I actually felt bad for her

I love her! I have been expecting some news for the last 6 months, she seems so down to earth!
Now i agree gwen has gotta get a move on now!! I am due today so i know the waiting is hard but i did think she would of had it by now!

You gotta love Jen’s comment! Of course we’ll figure it out sooner or later. There’s no law that says that actresses have to announce their pregnancy right when they find out. They deserve at least some privacy ;o) and Jen thinking that the speculations are amusing is so like her!
Just like she replied to the reporter that her growing belly was going to be her upcoming big project! Duh! LOL. She always makes me laugh! But of course I also can’t wait to know whether it’s a boy or a girl. Whatever it is, they will be a happy family!

they are having a girl ben annouced it today so she must be at least 5 months gone looks like another dec baby girl for them,i have been pregnant at the same time as jennifer(march is obviously when our fertility is at a all time high) and due at the same time with girls in both of my pregnancies but sadly i lost my baby girl at 16wks pregnant last month,anyway i wish them all the best for a healthy pregnancy and safe arrival.

Congratulations to them! I agree, people don’t have to know the moment the test is positive. Also, the sooner you tell people, it makes the pregnancy seem soooo long. I appauld her for just not saying anything rather than lie about it. I also think its amazing how soon the tabloids change their stories. For weeks they were talking about them splitting up, and then immediately talked about the pregnancy!

I don’t think that celebrities “wait to confirm”, for attention. Not at all …. it’s their business and if they decide to wait until they’re at least 3 or 4 months good for them. I personally think it’s bad luck to tell anyone before then …. I was 5 months before I told anyone I was pregnant with my daughter.
What show was this that she made the confirmation on? And is it online anywhere? I missed the “interview” and would like to see it.

I think it’s a boy. I think their family is so cute and laid-back I just feel really bad because teeth in general bother me so much, and I wish they’d take care of Violet’s better with the bottle and avoid braces in the future (if her permanent teeth grow in crooked, I’m not a dentist – she may not need braces as a teen).
Cute though, hope the second baby has those adorable dimples and gorgeous hair!
