"I just LOVE him and love the fact that he has turned into such a wonderful actor, partner and father. Good for him. The pic with the two of them together just melts my heart. My hubby looks at me like that still and I treasure it because some women wish they could find a good man who will still look at them the same way they did years before."

"If you ask Violet what I do, she'll say she remembers me bowing on stage when I did a show in New York, and so she'll say, 'My mom sometimes will bow on stage and sometimes she gets her hair and makeup done.' It's a great job!"

Istock_000005001612xsmall CBB was once again buzzing with commentary this week, on everything from bottle weaning and family size to postpartum weight loss and your "secret mom talents." You all had a lot to say, and we loved reading every word. Here are some of our favorite comments from the week:

Posted by Laura on Solange Knowles Shares Her Secret Mom Talent:

When I was little, my mum would always suggest that we "have a race"to see who could put their pajamas on first. I’d run off and do it asfast as possible, only to come back to find that she hadn’t evenstarted — and I just thought she was so slow and I was unbeatable! Ittook me YEARS to catch on, hehe, and we still laugh about it now. It’sgenius parenting!

Posted by Stephany on Jason Biggs Wants "A Lot" of Kids — Meaning Two!:

For me, I think 4+ is a lot. I want to have 3-4 children but whoknows, I might be done after 1 or 2! My dad’s family has 6 kids and mymom’s family has 6 kids as well (5 boys, 1 girl in each!) and all ofthem ended up have 2 kids each. I think it depends on your family. I’mthe youngest of 2 and I’d really love a big family because it gotboring with us during the summer. ;)

Posted by HeatherR on Sound Off! How and When Should Baby Give Up the Bottle?:

Both of my boys were bottled fed and neither one ever used a pacifier. I switched to sippy cups shortly after they turned 1, however, they both had bottles at nap time and bed time until they turned 2. For whatever reason they both felt comforted by that. I started noticing that they weren’t really even drinking the milk, it was just the "sucking" motion that soothed them. After I noticed that, I only put water in the bottle and immediately removed the bottle once they fell asleep. I threw all the bottles out when they reached 2 yrs. It doesn’t make much sense but I suppose they were dependent on the bottle the way some kids like to suck on a pacifier as they fall asleep. The boys are 3 and 6 now and have had no adverse dental/speech problems. :)

Posted by momsquared on Jessica Alba’s Trainer Reveals Her Slim-Down Secrets:

Her diet sounds terrific. It doesn’t sound the least bit outlandish. Jessica also looks terrific.

I think part of conceiving, carrying, and caring for a baby is all about health and fitness. I mean, that’s why there are so many pre-natal fitness classes popping up. That’s why doctors recommend losing weight if you are obese or overweight before trying to conceive. And we all know the benefits of why exercise should be part of our daily lives as we raise our children and care for our families.

Now I wouldn’t go on the "cabbage soup diet" like Jaime King and I wouldn’t do a triathalon like Jennifer Lopez, but Jessica’s diet and exercise plan sounds quite doable if I have a significant other to take care of the baby for an hour or two and take due diligence when shopping for my weekly meals.

None of which Jessica is doing requires a nanny or a full-time personal trainer.

Posted by LM on Ricky Martin Welcomes Twin Sons:

Congratulations to Mr. Martin. He’s frequently spoken about his desire to become a father and it is great to have a man in the spotlight who is not only taking on the responsibility of one baby but TWO. We commend single mothers for their strength in caring for their children by themselves but become weary when a man makes the decision to have children by himself. If the world expects less of men in their child-rearing responsibilities then the world can expect less from them.

Mr. Martin has been an active advocate for global issues regarding children with his Ricky Martin Foundation contributing to causes such as child trafficking, reducing poverty for children in Latin America, and aid relief after the 2004 tsunami. These two boys have an amazing parent who will undoubtedly pass on his compassion for human suffering and his commitment to the world’s children.
