I personally think Charlie has been handling this divorce better than Denise. She’s seeming to do anything just to get attention without even thinking about how Sam and Lola will be affected. It just has to end, darn it. But anyway, congrats to Charlie and Brooke. I hope it works out for them

Well I hope this marriage lasts and this baby brings him and Brook the happiness they deserve. I think he needs to be happy for the sake of his girls and for them to be a part of his life with their new stepmom and hopefully this baby won’t be exposed to the media like Denise does with those girls all the time. It;s sad when broken marriages hurt the children, and everyone needs to think of the kids before themselves if they want these families to get along. I hope he and Brook give this baby a better life than the one he had with Denise. Be nice for him to have a boy and the girls get to be a big sister to it and they get to grow up together as friends and siblings.

I agree with Sami and Phoebe and that’s exactly what I was thinking too…and it’s sad to think that way, but I think it’s true that he DOES throw digs at Denise whenever he gets a chance, and Denise is at fault for the same thing. It seems like whenever either Charlie or Denise are speaking in public they’re both making childish little underlying comments at each other. I’d really be kinda wary of that if I were Brooke. It would be a huge turnoff for me…Charlie and Denise need to grow up IMO before having more relationships and bringing more kids into the world.

How is that a dig against Denise. He’s just including all of his children in that statement. I think it would have been odd if he had only mentioned some of his children. Plus, Denise is no longer Cassandra’s step mother so it’s not as if Charlie is comparing them. I swear Charlie can’t say anything about his children without being slammed for insulting Denise. He didn’t even mention her anywhere in his statement, so clearly this has nothing to do with her.

Sami, I thought exactly the same thing. I felt that the sentence about being a stepmum was slightly pointed, although I’m not sure I wasn’t just reading too much into it. Like many people, I’m not really a Charlie fan (that’s not to suggest I’m on Team Denise either) but I do wish the family all the best. Most of all, I would like to see things get better with regards to Sam and Lola’s environment, maybe with the new addition, things will be smoother between their mum and dad. Btw, I don’t mean to exclude Cassandra, she’s just that much older.
