Update: Jenna Jameson Confirms Pregnancy
Update: Jenna has confirmed that she is expecting, telling Us Weekly, "Yes, I can confirm I’m pregnant. It’s still early, so I’m being cautious. I’m resting as much as possible. I’m so happy!"
Originally posted August 6th: Page Six is reporting that actress and former adult film star Jenna Jameson is expecting her first child with her boyfriend, ultimate fighter Tito Ortiz. While unconfirmed by their reps, a source shared that Jenna is "completely thrilled" and that "this is something she’s wanted for a very long time."
If true, the news does not come as a surprise, as Jenna revealed in May that she and Tito, 33, were trying to get pregnant. Making no secret of her fertility issues, Jenna, 34, previously shared that she suffered a miscarriage in 2004, as well as failed rounds of in-vitro fertilization in an attempt to start a family.

Here’s something i don’t understand. These women usually say they’ll leave the porn industry once they have children. Why? Aren’t they proud of what they do? At the same time they say it’s not shameful. But they wouldn’t share it with their kids, and i’m sure they wouldn’t want their kids to follow that path.
I’m nobody to judge them, but I don’t get it. Does anyone have a better explanation to that?

Bugs, even a successful woman in a media industry can only work so long. Once you hit 30, have a few crows feet, maybe a gray hair, you’re only going to last so much longer. And then again, she made a load of money and can afford to quit, regardless of the reason. Who cares, one, and two, it’s none of our beeswax! It’s just a happy thing when two people want to have a baby and it works out for them. Congrats!

One nice thing about her stopping working in “the biz” before the baby is born is that it’s pretty unlikely that her videos will still be watched very much when her child is a teenager. I don’t think her work can be considered “classic”.

She is no longer acting but she still runs ClubJenna I think, a business grossing $30,000,000 per year. The woman is a brilliant entrepreneur to say the least.

I’ve heard how Madonna hides her kids from all kinds of media e.g TV, newspapers and magazines etc. are not allowed in her house (is it true?) because she doesn’t want her kids knowing what their mom does professionally. Remember her “book”? At least that’s how it was a few years ago.

I’m a little late getting in on this…LOL Congrats to her. She seems to have wanted a baby for a long time so I’m happy for her. Now with that said, I do worry a bit about the kid. It’s not a reflection on her as a person or mother but having a Mom with a past like hers can be really hard on a child. Kids are cruel! We’ve all done stuff we would rather our kids not know about but the difference here is, it’s all very public- and everyone will surely know about it. I’m not passing judgment on her,because we all have to live our lives for us not others…it’s just a concern

Yes Nina, kids are cruel but what kids will know who Jenna is unless their parents are willing to tell them? Kids will always be cruel, as you say. Some of them anyway… Some of them just mimic their parents. If they don’t have a reason to bully served on a silver plate, they will make up a reason if they desire to bully and make fun of someone.
A perfect couple with a perfect past can still have a little baby with crossed eyes and “dumbo ears”. Nothing is written in stone. And no, I’m not saying anything bad about crossed eyes or dumbo ears, I personally think it can be quite charming, but this was an example. There will ALWAYS be “reasons” for kids to bully your kid.

I love her attitude about her career choice. She built a small empire and made a ton of money doing something she loves. It’s not necessarily for me, but I respect the fact that she was never ashamed of her choices. Her kids will be able to do what few of us would want to which is watch their mom have sex with lots and lots of people. Their friends are going to watch it too. Anyone see the episode of Denise Richards’ show where her nephew’s friends were passing around her Playboy issue? The fact is this kid will grow up either very open sexually and might go into the same industry or they’ll be embarrassed having everyone in the world being able to see their mom having sex. I mean we all get embarrassed at the very thought of our parents even having sex, let alone being able to rent videos of them doing it. She’s lived an unhealthy lifestyle and made poor choices for her career, but she really seems happy about being pregnant and so I’m happy for her. We’re all sinners, just some of our sins can be viewed by millions.

Whilst I wish her and the baby all the best and hope that they are both happy and heathy, I don’t feel at all comfortable with there being posts about a porn star (who I don’t consider to be a celebrity because of her profesion) on what I consider to be a classy site. I do not mean at all to upset anyone here by saying that, I am merely voicing my opinion.

It’s simple. Legal and safe sexual acts are not something to be ashamed of. We all do it and sometimes we’re blessed to have children result from it. Jenna is not ashamed of it and I’m sure she’s going to use her experience to educate her children about the pros and cons of sex. When they come of age and enter that scary period with tons of knowledge they’ll make more-informed decisions about sex than their peers.
And porn has enlightened millions of people who would have otherwise been clueless about sex. Like anything, it has a bad side as well as a good one but apparently Jenna has settled on the good side. And if her children decide to go into the porn industry because of her experience..who cares? It’s obviously made her well-off and happy. Congrats to Jenna, she’s living a nice dream.

Patterson, do you really think porn has a good side? That implies the industry has something “good” to offer our young daughters and sisters, which I unequivocally believe to be UNTRUE. I do not know Jenna personally but she has always struck me as being highly intelligent and business-minded–if not misguided. I would bet money that she would not want her child (whether it be a boy or a girl) to have any part of the industry, but instead want them to aspire for more in their lives.

Christian, if a parent has a young daughter looking at this page and seeing a role model in a former porn star, then they’ve got bigger problems than we can address here. Also, this isn’t a website for girls, it caters towards woman who are mothers, pregnant, or trying to become pregnant, adopting, etc. As a fellow woman who has suffered through multiple losses and a failed IVF cycle like Jenna has, I am very pleased to see her achieving her dream of a pregnancy. I also feel especially happy hearing pregnancy news in these circumstances because of what I went through personally – I know how grateful and joyful they must be feeling. Congrats to Jenna and Tito.

Sex can have an impact on fertility. Multiple partners increases your risk for STD’s and other problems. Some STD’s can cause infertility problems. I’m not saying that’s why Jenna had her problems. I’m responding to the earlier post which stated a lot of sex doesn’t cause infertility, it can.

All of the posters here who are screaming about other posters passing judgement on Jenna, could possibly be a little less than honest. It’s easy to be idealistic when it comes to porn stars when it doesn’t hit home but how would you feel if your daughter was a porn star or your mother worked in porn? The fact that the woman is rich and famous isn’t the point. Being rich and famous doesn’t automatically make EVERYTHING ok. I bet some of you think I’m judging her but I’m not. I’ve always liked Jenna because she is open and honest about what she does. I don’t have a problem with what an adult chooses to do with her life. However, other people have a right to find her profession distasteful. No, they shouldn’t judge her but it’s unrealistic to say everyone who disagrees with her choice of career is judging her or is a religious nut.
UGH! It annoys me that so many people consider themselves open minded when in fact they are only so when it comes to others that share the same opinions or only when it’s politically correct. Oh Please…if anyone read her book shes been trying to have a baby for years. Having multiple partners or supposed STD’s doesn’t mean that necessarily any harder for someone to conceive. Hea, your knowledge doesn’t seem to be very advanced. The question I posted, was actually a very valid one. For one, there are lots of diseases transmittable only by sex. While sex itself may not be dangerous, by having too much with so many different partners increases the possibility. So sex itself may not, but her being a porn star could most likely influence her fertility.
Another thing you may not know is that porn stars do take lots of pre-conceptions, pills (if there is an “accident”) or birth control pills possibly use some things which may cause an infection leading to infertility. So that’s why on earth her job could most likely influence her problems.
I was hoping though to find more about this issue.

Sorry to comment off topic but I hate to see people with the wrong info. There are plenty of things that multiple sex partners increases your risk for and not just STDS. Many of these problems will effect fertility. I am a RN who works in a GYN practice so trust me I know this to be true. Hea you need to do more research or talk to your doctor.

As a Christian woman myself, NO…it is not my place or any other Christian (or any individual for that matter) to “condemn or judge” her career choices. We ALL are sinners- and not one sin is worse than the other..but I won’t get in to all of that on this board- LOL. Just wanted to say that we all do things that we might not be proud of…or have made choices that we HAD to make at that given time- but ALL is forgiveable.
God definitely blessed Jenna- and I couldn’t be happier for her! I wish her a very healthy & happy pregnancy. I can tell by her interviews that she will make an outstanding Mother- and I wish her nothing but the very best!!!
Lighten up people- porn is no worse than lying, cheating, stealing, living a life of self-indulgence, selfishness, etc. We ALL have skeletons in that little closet- so be careful before placing judgement on a woman that just wants to better her life and start a family.

in terms of morals, hollywood is completely rotten anyway. I bet most seemingly normal actors are just as ‘bad’ as a pornstar. at least pornstars are required to get tested.

May i add that i know some women who have nasty std’s such as chlamydia and ghonorrhea and may i add that these dieases are extremely harmful and damaging so all you people that think that lots of sex with lots of different people is normal, perfectly healthy and perfectly safe are WRONG, WRONG, WRONG. My friend now only has a 30% chance of ever having children because she contracted chlamydia ONCE. Another woman i know has done so much damage to herself internally through hard core sex, will never be able to have children. And another woman who i went to school with who has been having sex with about 2 different partners every week since she was 12 is infertile and has had an ovary removed which was diseased and swelled to the size of a softball – all due to too much, unconventional hardcore sex, with too many people…. so. there you have it. The only SAFE sex is with ONE partner who is gentle, caring and loving towards you – just as GOD intended.
