"I just LOVE him and love the fact that he has turned into such a wonderful actor, partner and father. Good for him. The pic with the two of them together just melts my heart. My hubby looks at me like that still and I treasure it because some women wish they could find a good man who will still look at them the same way they did years before."

"If you ask Violet what I do, she'll say she remembers me bowing on stage when I did a show in New York, and so she'll say, 'My mom sometimes will bow on stage and sometimes she gets her hair and makeup done.' It's a great job!"

Dr_dreAndré Romelle Young Jr., the 20-year-old son of record producer/rapper Dr. Dre, 43, passed away on Saturday, August 23rd at his Woodland Hills, Calif. home. André had been out Friday evening with friends and returned home at approximately 5:30 a.m. His mother went to check on him at 10:24 a.m., where she found him unresponsive and proceeded to call for paramedics. An autopsy has been performed, but the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office is waiting on the results of toxicology reports before a cause of death can be determined. Foul play is not suspected. When contacted for a comment, Dr. Dre’s publicist released the following statement:

Dr. Dre is mourning the loss of his son André Young Jr. Please respect his family’s grief and privacy at this time.

Dr. Dre has four other children: sons Curtis, 26, Marcel, 17, and Truth, 11, as well as daughter Truly, 7.

How terribly sad. I’ve met Dr Dre out at a lounge in the Valley and he was extremely kind and warm. He has a very gental presence, soft hand shake and does not at all give off that celebrity vibe. My prayers go out to him and his family.

  14. Autumn Says:

That’s sad and tragic! First their infant daughter who had health issues which caused her early death, and now Dr. Dre’s oldest son.

It sort of reminds me of Anna Nicole’s son Daniel (who died when he was still 20) and Hunter Tylo’s son, all who died too young.

  15. Jen Says:

I feel for his family at this difficult time. I hope they take the time to properly grieve and comfort each other. There are a lot of resources out there for children who have experienced a death in the family, but not so many for young adults like his first and third child. I lost my older brother (he was 34) in May, so unfortunately I somewhat understand what they are going through. I hope someday they find peace.

  16. ERICKA Says:
