Ashlee Simpson-Wentz’s Motherly Instincts are Kicking In
Ashlee Simpson-Wentz reportedly isn’t due for another two months, but the glowing mom-to-be is already in major nesting mode. "We’re getting the nursery ready," she says. "The baby is my main focus right now. I mean, this is definitely the happiest moment in my life."
Ashlee, 23, and husband Pete Wentz, 29, have spoken openly about the excitement surrounding their impending arrival — with Pete saying he "can’t wait to meet the baby." Ashlee shares, "I have the greatest husband. It’s fun to have somebody that I love to do this with." The pop singer is also receiving support from her family and friends. "My mom and mygrandmother [have] given me good motherly advice," she says. "Butit’s one of those things where your mother instincts kind of kick inright away."
The couple has not yet revealed the sex of their baby, and Ashlee claims they haven’t settled on a name, either. She says, "I don’t think it’s something we’ll decide until the baby comes."

I love these two. They’re such a great couple. I’ve been fans of them for awhile and I am so excited to see this baby!

I can totally see Ashlee in a maternal role. She seems like such a sweetheart. I’ve loved this couple since I found out they were dating. I can’t wait for this baby!

I’ll admit,i’m not a fan of Ashlee’s
music,but I loved her when she was on
7th Heaven. I think she and Pete
will be wonderful parents. I usually
get these things wrong,but I predict
the baby will be a girl.

I’m not a fan of her music either but I also loved her on 7th Heaven as Simon’s love interest and I agree with you again Amanda I also think that the baby will be a girl …. but she can’t already be 7 months …. can they??? I mean they just told everyone and said that they denied it before because they were waiting for her to hit 3 months …. and that was what a month or 2 ago??

Bancie1031 – They married in May of this year and shortly after that they announced that Ashlee is in fact pregnant. So perhaps she is 6 months or so along and was maybe 4 and a bit at the time?

Liz — thanks …. but wow was it really in May …. has it really already been that long ago?? You could be right. Man is it just me or is this year just flying by??? And all of these celebrity pregnancies just flying by also ….. well except for Gwen who seemed like she was pregnant for 3 years.
