Fred Durst Changes the Parenting Cycle for His Kids
The Longshots director Fred Durst knows what it’s like to not have a role model growing up, and wants to ensure that his children — Adriana, 17, and Dallas, 7 this week — know that they can turn to him. Limp Bizkit founder Fred, 38, admits that "I definitely broke the cycle with my children, one hundred percent," laughingly adding that "I think I’m going extremely the other way."
You know, sometimes to break the cycle I might overdo it a little bit, but I know how sensitive I was. [I know] how I just sometimes needed to be able to cry, or to be able to be someone who needed somebody to hug him or to understand him, or hear him out and listen to him. I never want to have my children to ever experience not having that.
Adriana’s mom is Rachel Tergesen and Dallas’ is Jennifer Thayer.

FYI… the spelling “overdue” defines a library book one has yet to return or an unpaid bill, “overdo” refers to doing something to excess.

I can not believe that he is a father of a 17 yr old and a 7 yr old. It felt like just yesterday I was watching him jump around on stage…time flies.

I put Fred in the same category as Kid Rock, Eminem, 50 Cent, the whole Simmons family, the Rossdales, Tommy Lee and Pamela Anderson and of course many more but I just named a few.
Great musicans and actresses whose life can be very rocky and unstable sometimes but there’s never a question mark when it comes to their kids. They are good devoted parents!

He looks to have matured a LOT since the last time I saw or heard him on the television. (Talking about Fred Durst of course). His son looks just like him. Looks like a good father, looking past his public celebrity affairs.
