Jenny McCarthy and Evan Go For a Spin
Actress and comedienne Jenny McCarthy and son Evan Joseph, 6, cheese it up for the cameras while enjoying the Autopia ride at Disneyland on Tuesday. The ride, located in Tomorrowland, allows kids to control the speed as they "hug curves, cross bridges, and even go off-roading" at the Anaheim, Calif. park.

I have to confess something…. I didn’t care too much for Jenny McCarthy in her younger days ( to me she came across as all fluff and blonde) lol, but I must say since she became a mom, she is spectacular…. simply stellar. I love how she has taken the hand that the universe has dealt her and instead of hiding it or crying “Why Me?”, she has educated herself about her son’s illness and is trying to make his life so enjoyable for him. I just love how she goes to bat for her son, not to mention the numerous other kids out there stricken with Autism. She is to be truly commended.
Before I get any backlash, I know it is what every mother should do, but you know what? Some don’t and that’s why I think she deserves a little applause. She is a celebrity and she is using her status for a good cause and not for “media whoring” gasp!

I agree with above comment…But something from left field here…Check out left hand, ring finger…Something more going on with her and Jim Carrey???

Nicole,
I totally agree with you….by the way, no matter what you seem to say these days on here, everyone is going to backlash as you say. I don’t know why everyone gets so defensive and takes everything to a personal level. I have a son with autism, and it wasn’t till celebs. started talking about it thast now people go “Oh, your son is autistic like Jenny’s son? have you tried that diet she has her son on?” So, people are more aware now and have their eyes wide open to certain issues, so I def. applaud her!!! I wish more celebs. would talk about their children with this issue since it is a epidemic!!! She and her son look beautiful!

I saw the ring too, but both her and Jim have repeatedly said they will NOT get married. Who nows though. i think they are a great couple and she seems like such a fantastic mom. I read her book and it cracked me up.

Love her! I read that the ring she is wearing are three gold rings in one that Jim gave her to represent Her, Jim and Evan but it isn’t an engagement ring…but you never know they seem to love each other very much and are very committed so never say never!

I LOVE Jenny!! She has helped me and my family tremendously!! I’ve learned more about autism through her than anyone else. My son, who is epileptic (seizures) & who was autistic, is in recovery!! Thank you Jenny for being one of my most important Angels!! God truly is amazing!!!

What great pics of them both. They look so happy. She seems like such a great mom and is so open and honest about Evan and their struggles, how could you not admire that?
I don’t have an autistic child, nor do I know anyone with an autistic child (kinda surprising in this day & age), however, I agree that Jenny has helped bring more awareness to autism and I know she will continue to do so.
