Kate Hudson and Ryder’s On-street Cuddle
Hector Vallenilla/Pacific Coast News |
Actress Kate Hudson, 29, rests a hand on 4 ½-year-old son Ryder Russell’s head while out in Greenwich Village on Wednesday in NYC. The pair grabbed a snack (which Ryder wore on his face!) before heading back home. Dad is Black Crowes rocker Chris Robinson.

Aw, I love these two. They are so content with each other.

I honestly still have a problem with Kate carrying her son. I know it often has been discussed, but I just don’t see why she does doing that. He’s 4 1/2 years old, he has to healthy feet and legs, he’s tall enough, and he should walk. Walking and jumping around is so important for kids because it helps building the brain’s synapses, so this often ‘carrying around thing’ is not that good. Also, kids usually want to walk on their own instead of being carried. I’m not saying kids dislike being on their parents’ arms, but I think there have only been 3 or 4 pictures of hundreds where Ryder has been walking himself.

He looks just like Chris is that first picture.

It’s funny. I see a lot of Chris in him now, but in the second photo, with the face he made, I see his mother in him. He has his moments of Kate’s features coming through.
