LeAnn Rimes and Dean Sheremet Ready for a Baby

Last Thursday, August 28th, was a big day for country singer LeAnn Rimes and her husband Dean Sheremet on the Calistoga Ranch in the Napa Valley. Not only did the pair, along with thirty of their closest friends, celebrate LeAnn’s 26th birthday, the couple also decided to take advantage of the great weather and include their upcoming seven year anniversary — which is not until February 23rd — in the celebration as well. Saying they wanted to "remember how blessed we are and how excited we still are about each other," LeAnn admits that their blessings may become even larger in the near future as they are "definitely ready" to start a family. Apparently LeAnn and Dean, 27, aren’t alone in thinking they need to start having babies, as LeAnn shares that their friend, fellow country star and new dad Keith Urban — who along with his wife Nicole Kidman welcomed their first daughter Sunday Rose 8 weeks ago — is "encouraging us to start gettin’ on it!"

Is it me or is it weird to announce you are ready to start trying for a baby? I mean they are in the public eye but it just seems like a weird thing to announce. Maybe this was only to their family since it was at a party and someone told so maybe thats not weird but when people in general announce it to the media it seems like they are either trying to getthe media off their back or trying to bring attention to them. I dont know, nothing against them just find it strange. I do think they would have gorgeous babies!

You really have not heard of Leann? She’s been in the industry over 10 years now! I guess maybe if you don’t listen to country. Anyway I am happy to hear they will start trying soon, I like that they realized they were young when they married and waited.

id say she is announcing it like jerry oconnell announced they were ready and then the next week they announced they were pregnant. So I would bet they are already pregnant.

I have noticed that every time LeAnn does an interview, she is asked about starting a family. Probably because she and Dean have been married for several years now. I would imagine that she is “announcing” that they are trying for a baby so maybe people will stop asking her about that. And as some of you have mentioned, maybe she is already pregnant. Either way, I wish her the best.

I think the only reason she announced that “they’re ready” is because the media has constantly hounded them about “when are you having kids..etc..etc”, So maybe it’s a way to announce and have them back off about it.

I agree with those of you that think LeAnn is probably already pregnant. It does seem to happen quite often that when a celebrity says they are “thinking babies” (or words to that effect)then they announce soon after that they’re pregnant already.

They got married on my birthday, Feb. 23. For me, I certainly wouldn’t announce my husband and I were going to try for children, but each to one’s own.

You know, I always think, definitely not based on her appearence, that she’s older than 26. I think it’s just because she’s been singing for so long. Also, I didn’t realize her and Dean were going on seven years of marriage. Congrats to them and good luck with starting a family!

best of luck to her and her husband. i think she sings waay better then underwod, swift, and simpson combined. she has such a great voice. you can tell they all listened to her anyway.

I think its great they waited so long, 26-27-28 is a great time for first babies and too early. In this day & age, I’m glad to see some sense in celebrities and not too quick to jump on the baby wagon. Yeah!
