"I was too emotional [when I was pregnant]. I cried at the drop of a hat. It’s Hallmark commercials, it’s anything you could possibly imagine. Not even Hallmark. It’s a coffee commercial, and they pick up [the cup of coffee] and I’d go [crying] ‘Ooooh, it’s coffee!’"

Honor’s First Flight a Success, Says Cash Warren

ATM/Flynet

Going to the airport and catching a flight is stressful enough, but as new parents producer Cash Warren, 29, and his wife actress Jessica Alba, 27, recently found out, adding a newborn to the mix can make things even more hectic! The couple — who were heading out to Denver for the Democratic National Convention — decided to make the short break their first trip together as a family and brought along daughter Honor Marie, 3 months. Arriving at the airport "way too close to our departure time" and having to exchange some choice words with "two lame photographers that were waiting at the airport," the family of three finally made their way through security. Arriving at their gate, Cash and Jessica’s thoughts turned to their baby girl. The fear of boarding a plane with your newborn baby and having to possibly endure — and make other passengers sit through — a screaming child is "nerve-racking," says Cash. With their fingers crossed that Honor would snooze, the couple reached their seats and were granted their wish as their daughter fell fast asleep, something that Cash jokes is a bit uncommon for his little girl.

"To date, Honor has been a great baby. Rarely crying. Opting to express herself through simple Haikus or interpretive dance instead…yeah right. My girl’s got opinions."

Honor is Cash and Jessica’s first child. The couple quietly married in May.

I wonder how the photographers knew that they were going to be at the airport? Good to hear that Honor was a good little baby on her trip. Hope we get to see her again soon.

  2. Dana Says:

That was absolutely hilarious. I’m glad that everything work out well for the flight.

I believe that the paparazzi camp out at the airport on the off-chance of catching a celeb jetting off to parts unknown (and not always looking their best).

  3. Bancie1031 Says:

You might be right Dana. I have a question for anyone that has been to LAX airport …. have any of you ever seen the Paparazzi there??? I don’t fly so this just makes me curious.

  4. Brigid Says:

That quote is too funny! He sounds like a great dad. The first time we flew with my daughter, she was 8 months old and I just nursed her during takeoff and she slept and it was fine. Then we flew again when she was 15 months and it was a NIGHTMARE!! They are lucky that she slept.

  5. Stacey Says:

Awe! I wish we could see more pictures of her, but I understand them wanting to keep her private! Yes they are very lucky she is still small and slept. I just flew from Japan to FL with a 16 month old and she will be 20 months when we fly back. She did very well on the flight to FL but on the way back it wlll be day time so I’m VERY nervous!

  6. Emily Says:

Hahaha, that had me LOL’ing…he’s funny! We need to hear more from Cash…I’m sure he’s much more than “Mr. Alba.”

  7. Elizabeth Says:

Well, based on that quote, I can certainly see what Jessica likes about him! Cool guy!

  8. Amy Says:

That quote made me laugh out loud too! How funny.

  9. Bancie1031 Says:

Yes that quote also made me lol. I love a guy with a sense of humor.

  10. Stephany Says:

Haha, aw, Cash has a great sense of humor! I love that quote.

  11. Aya Says:

Is it safe to take a baby on a plane at that age ? I’m not picking at them i’m curious because I keep getting mixed responses from the doctors. My husband really really wants to take our baby when he is born to see his family back home.

  12. Bancie1031 Says:

I believe that they have to be at least 6 weeks old Aya, as I stated previously I don’t fly period so I’m not 100% sure on that, but I know friends that do and that’s what they have said.
