Nigel and Cristen Chin Barker Expecting a Daughter

 Update: Surprise! The first ultrasound was incorrect, and the Barkers have now learned that they’ll be welcoming a daughter. Nigel’s agent explains, "In the first reading, they were told they’re having a boy. When they went back for a second reading, they learned it was a girl. They were thrilled to have a healthy baby boy — but to find outit’s a girl, they’re elated! Now they’ll have a son and a daughter."

Nigel tells Us Weekly that they’ll be waiting to see their daughter before they name her, saying, "We’re going to look at her, and when we see her, we’re going to come up with a name."

Originally posted June 21st: America’s Next Top Model judge/fashion photographer Nigel Barker, 36, and his model wife Cristen Chin Barker, 33, are expecting their second child, another boy. The baby is due on December 1st and will join big brother Jack, 2 ½.

   well im sure this has cleared a lot up because i cant tell you how many times i’ve heard that he was gay! i knew he wasnt but when every other guy on top model is…noone was believing me!

   How old is Jack? They have got to be/are going to be some gorgeous kids! (I haven’t seen any pics of Jack, so I don’t know!)

   Congrats to them! I love Nigel on ANTM. And his wife has made a cameo on the show before as well. No doubt they’ll have 2 beautiful boys.

   Congrats them them. What a nice surprise

   At least they found out now, while still in utero. They have time to prepare vs. the actual birth and “surprise,its actually a girL”.

    I love Nigel in ANTM, he seems like such a great guy!

    My ultrasound was incorrect too, the first one they said it was a boy and EVERYONE even stranger would tell me I ‘looked’ like I was having a boy, and surprise I had a girl!! lol

    This is my biggest fear! We were told that we’re having a girl due in January and I’m so afraid that it’ll be wrong. My mom was told she was having a girl through her 2nd pregnancy and sure enough I have a little brother. I love Nigel though…she’s going to be a beautiful little girl!

    Wow, what a surprise to get! Isn’t it usually the other way around, where they tell you its a girl and then they see a penis later? I wonder what they thought the penis was here, maybe the cord.

    My mom was told I was a boy (she only had an u/s at 8 months) and surprise! I was a girl at delivery haha.

    oj gosh i have my next ultrasound on the 23rd. i sure hope they dont say… OOOPS its a boy. Im so excited to have a girl. lol

    Nigel used to be a client of my company’s… well he probably still is, I’m just not with the company anymore… I never met his wife but he would bring in his sooooooooooooooooooooo cute son often
