Snacktime for Geri and Bluebell Halliwell
Pacific Coast News |
Geri Halliwell and Bluebell Madonna, 2, munched on snacks — almonds for mum, muffin for daughter — as they shopped at the Malibu Country Mart on Sunday in California. The 36-year-old Spice Girl and her little girl are currently living in Los Angeles, where they were recently spotted at Romeo Beckham’s birthday party.
Bluebell rides in a Maclaren Limited Edition Lulu Guinness Bed of Roses Stroller ($325).

I love Bluebell’s hair, it’s gorgeous. I’ve never been able to warm to her name, but I wish we saw more of her smiling, she seems like such a serious little girl.

How did Geri come up with her name????

I remember at the time Geri said she chose Bluebell because she saw the flowers while pregnant and thought they were becoming rare (or something along those lines) and the Madonna part because the moment she was born, she came out with her arms open wide as if to say ‘Hello Wembley’. I remember Wembley being mentioned clear as day. To be honest, I don’t like either name, but at least Bluebell can revert to Belle when she’s older if she wants to. I wonder if her dad has much contact with her?

Bluebell is a very adorable child.
In regards to Geri’s choice in her name, while she was pregnant Geri’s mother mentioned to her that the Bluebell flower was rare or something along the lines and the Madonna part is because both of Geri’s rolemodels are named Madonna. Madonna the singer and the virgen Madonna.
