"I just LOVE him and love the fact that he has turned into such a wonderful actor, partner and father. Good for him. The pic with the two of them together just melts my heart. My hubby looks at me like that still and I treasure it because some women wish they could find a good man who will still look at them the same way they did years before."

"If you ask Violet what I do, she'll say she remembers me bowing on stage when I did a show in New York, and so she'll say, 'My mom sometimes will bow on stage and sometimes she gets her hair and makeup done.' It's a great job!"

Teach Me Time! An Alarm Clock for Kids

Teach Me Time! Talking Alarm Clock & Nightlight

Teach Me Time! Talking Alarm Clock & Nightlight ($39.99) is a nifty talking bedside alarm clock, time teaching tool and nightlight. Depending on how old your child is, you can use it in many different ways. For ages 3- 5, Teach Me Time!’s color changing nightlight teaches kids to stay in bed until it’s okay to wake up (7 a.m. in my house). For ages 5-7, the Teach Me Time! Clock will teach kids to tell time on both analog and digital clocks. As an educator, time was always a difficult concept to teach kids, so anything that’s going to help kids enjoy learning to tell time is smart in my book. From ages 7 on, Teach Me Time! is a regular alarm clock, which even has a snooze button.

Nightandday_2We used to use a regular alarm clock for our toddler, and we told him not to leave his room until the numbers read 7:00. That worked for about 2 weeks. Now, using the Teach Me Time! Clock, we taught him not to get up until the nightlight on the clock goes from yellow to green. To our delight — our toddler actually waits to get up when the clock turns green. The clock was easy to set up and we liked that the buttons are hidden in the back of the clock. Another cool function — your child can hit the right foot of the alarm clock and it will say the time. Maybe in a few months I can set the wakeup time to 7:30 a.m. and my toddler will actually sleep later!!
