Baby’s first awards show! Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz posed with wife Ashlee Simpson-Wentz, each resting a hand on her belly at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards, held Sunday at Paramount Pictures Studios in Los Angeles.
Pete, 29, and Ashlee, 23, expect their first child this fall — and no, it’s not twins!

She looked gorgeous! She definatly has that beautiful baby glow to her. Cant wait til she has him/her I know it will be a beautiful baby! I think she may be having a boy though I know everyone else is…Im having two due next month! ha ha.

she looks amazing & i was wondering if you were going to post anything about the twins rumor & i was wondering if anyone else saw her on the vmas last night saying she was voting saying “one for me one for the baby one for me one for the baby” & so on it was funny especially the voice she used when talking about the baby

They were soooo cute on the VMA’s together… Just by the looks of that belly, she has to be due soon… Personally, I love Pete’s & Ashlee’s fashion… I cant wait to see the clothes they put on the baby

Why would anyone mention twins? She hasn’t put on that much weight.

She does look great.
I think she’s getting a lot of twins rumor not just because of riddled comments but because she’s carrying quite big too (she has such a tiny slim frame)
My bump was that big at 40 weeks! We all carry differently though.
She is g-l-o-w-i-n-g, and so she should be!

This couple look eerily similar facially, so I doubt very much it will be obvious early on who the baby resembles more. Congrats, Ashley looks great!

Ashlee looked gorgeous at the VMA’s. Her and Pete make a really cute couple. She looks great for being 8 months along. I’m thinking it’s going to be a little girl.

she looks great! i can’t believe anyone gave her a hard time about her weight. looks like a nice, healthy pregnancy weight to me. and yes, i agree with the person who said this pregnancy seemed to go really fast!

What the hell is Pete wearing????? LOL On to Ashlee- As I prob mentioned before I never liked her before now. I think she looks beautiful, and I love all of the changes she has made since being with Pete. I actually believe they happy. Good luck to them! I will be looking out for the baby announcement.

Every time I see them I smile. This is such s wonderful time in their lives. They are young, in love, they are newlyweds, now they are having a baby. I’m mad jealous.ha-ha I hope they enjoy this special time. I cant wait to see the baby. I think Jessica is going to be next.

They seem so happy, and that makes me smile. I’ve followed Ashlee’s career since the very beginning…and you can just tell with the last album, that she’s just in such a good place in her life and the baby is only enhancing that. I can’t wait to see this little baby and see what they name it!

Argh, those twins rumors are really irritating sometimes! Ashlee is the same way that I was when I was pregnant – all belly. When you’re small to begin with, you will get big. I looked just like she did at 8 months. I think she’s having a boy, but we’ll see! Congrats to them!

I would have liked Ashlee better if she wasn’t a “singer” but she looked absolutely amazing and beautiful Sunday night, they seemed to be very excited and happy about the baby.

I still can’t believe she’s pregnant but she is be-u-tee full.
As it may be a girl, or boy, or possibly twins (hey, they may still try keeping it secretive) or whenever the baby is due… I just hope all goes well with the birth and the health of the family!

Ashlee and Pete look so cute together. I don’t care what the gender is. but like i am so confused cause In Touch says that they don’t no the gender and then they r saying they do and i am so confused. But Oh well. I L.O.V.E her dress and hubby though. I am so happy they found each other. They are going 2 be the best parents ever!! cause they are so loving and all.
