Levi is another name for Matthew. Personally I’d rather make sure my son and his mother were secure financially. Marriage would take care of that I mean you never know what’s going to happen to you, right? I don’t get why he’s so easy going about it. If I was Camillia I’d insist on a more solid commitment then “We’re having kids together aren’t we? Isn’t that enough?” Personally it wouldn’t be enough for me. Has Camillia ever spoken about her feelings on the subject?

I looked in an NIV Bible, and the verse is “The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are good, your whole body will be full of light.” It’s a similar meaning-really lovely and I can see why Matthew identifies with it strongly.

I don’t get it. KGV Mat 6:22 “The light of the body is the eye: if therefore your eye be single, your whole body shall be full of light.”
