"I just LOVE him and love the fact that he has turned into such a wonderful actor, partner and father. Good for him. The pic with the two of them together just melts my heart. My hubby looks at me like that still and I treasure it because some women wish they could find a good man who will still look at them the same way they did years before."

"If you ask Violet what I do, she'll say she remembers me bowing on stage when I did a show in New York, and so she'll say, 'My mom sometimes will bow on stage and sometimes she gets her hair and makeup done.' It's a great job!"

Brooke Burns’ Most Embarrassing Mommy Moment

John Calabrese/Pacific Coast News

Dating as a single mom is something Brooke Burns says she does "very carefully." The 30-year-old cohost of Hole in the Wall has been in a steady relationship "for a while" with someone not involved in the entertainment industry, and reveals that he’s "great" with her 8-year-old daughter Madison Elizabeth. "It’s very difficult not to have her as a part of that because, in dating someone, [Madison's opinion] is a huge criteria," Brooke tells MomLogic. She goes on to cite the loss of spontaneity as one of the biggest surprises of new motherhood, noting that it’s hard to pick up and go with baby in tow — for many reasons!

"You have to get the diaper bag and the diapers and the baby, and make sure they’re dry, and then they spit up on their clothes. And so you have to change their clothes, and you forgot to get the milk from the fridge, and then they poop in their diaper right as you’re putting them in the car seat!"

Bodily fluids factor into Brooke’s most embarrassing mommy moment, as well. On an audition for a hosting job (and sitting across the table from a team of television executives!), Brooke was wearing a red silk dress and feeling "really good" about herself when disaster struck. "I looked down…I was breastfeeding at the time, and I had huge milk stains on the red satin," Brooke recalls with a laugh.

Madison is Brooke’s daughter with ex-husband Julian McMahon.

What’s your most embarassing mommy moment?

After giving birth to my second child, my older daughter and I was at a well child visit. She reached into the diaper bag and pulled out a kotex pad and a nursing pad and asked, “Mommy, which diaper is yours and which is the babies’?” The whole office burst out laughing. To this day, she swears that kotex are diapers for mommies. In some ways, I guess they are!

Ah, yes… milk stains. If I was in a store or some public place and I started leaking through my shirt, rather then draw attention to the nipular area on my boobs, I would go into the bathroom, splash water on my shirt then adjust the shirt so the milk stain wasn’t directly over my breast just to make it look as though I “accidently” splashed water on myself. That seemed so much better then leaky boobs for some reason.

Not necessarily a mommy moment, but a joint parent moment.

When our oldest was 2, we were heading out to meet my mother-in-law for dinner. My daughter used to love to play with belts and ties and called them snakes. She was almost like a cat the way she wanted to play with them. So, as we are getting ready, my husband starts putting on his belt. She ran over and started giggling, wanting to play. We indulged her for a few minutes and my husband took off the belt to play with her. When we finally got to dinner, we apologized for being late. We were attempting to put our daughter in her highchair when she stood up and loudly announced to the whole restaurant that we were late because she was playing with the snake between daddy’s legs. We were both speechless for a minute as we got multiple stares. Just as loudly, I announced that it was a belt that she referred to as a snake. But no matter how many times I said it, it just didn’t sound right. We quickly finished eating and left.
