"I just LOVE him and love the fact that he has turned into such a wonderful actor, partner and father. Good for him. The pic with the two of them together just melts my heart. My hubby looks at me like that still and I treasure it because some women wish they could find a good man who will still look at them the same way they did years before."

"If you ask Violet what I do, she'll say she remembers me bowing on stage when I did a show in New York, and so she'll say, 'My mom sometimes will bow on stage and sometimes she gets her hair and makeup done.' It's a great job!"

Sarah Jessica Parker — trading in her heels for a pair of clogs — smiles as she brings 5 ½-year-old son James Wilkie to school in the West Village of NYC on Thursday. Sarah Jessica, 43, and James both stayed cozy in a fleece jacket and a sweater for the walk.

Dad is Matthew Broderick.

I think James Wilkie needs to go up a size in his hand-me-down pants…he’s been in high waters the last few photos! :)

    What a cutie!

  2. finnaryn Says:

I would guess that James Wilkie is at an awkard size where he need the smaller sizes for his waist but the larger sizes for his legs. My four year old is like this. He can wear 4T shorts but needs Boys Small (which is about two sizes up) for length in pants. If James Wilkie dosn’t want to wear a belt, the only option is to wear a size to fit the waist.

Okay so I have a question. Have Sarah and Matthew ever spoken about having more kids? I assume they don’t.

  4. Patterson Says:

I love how they’re all completely fine and used to the daily paparazzi to-and-from school blitz.

  5. bethany Says:

she kind of looks like madonna here!

  6. betsy Says:

I can’t imagine being followed by paparazzi while simply taking her kid to school. Just because they are out in public, makes people they are fair game.

  7. Elli Says:

Betsy, I agree with you BUT people like you and me who are obviously interested in people like this are responsible for these paparazzi as we signal that there is demand for these pics – otherwise we wouldn’t flick through the CBB-pages…

  8. SH Says:

    finnaryn-
try a “slim” size – lots of places carry them. “slim” sizes run small in the waist and long in the leg. if your boy can wear a 4T short, try a 5 slim or 6 slim for pants….either way, buying pants that are too short is not the only option for a waist that fits. one of my friends has 3 boys that are ALL tall stringbeans and she has to buy slim for all of them.

  9. Roe Says:

can’t she get him pants that fit, that boy is always wearing floods.

  10. brooke Says:

His pants are always so high and never fit right. I know she says she gets hand me downs from her nephews, but she can afford to get her son some pants that fit, especially when for the most part she dresses herself nice

  11. Renee Says:

Really? People are complaining about her son’s pants? To me this isn’t a big deal.He looks comfortable and happy, what’s the problem?
