Food Tidings: Meal Organizer for New Moms

When my friend had her second baby a group of us decided we wouldeach drop off a meal every night for the first month. By day threethere was a cancellation and a last minute switcheroo. On day four theswitchee wasn’t sure if she still had to drop off a meal. On day fivethe organizer threw her arms up in the air and decided to scratch thewhole thing (and I didn’t blame her!). We certainly could have used asite like Food Tidings, which helps simplify the process of organizing meals for friends and family members in a transitional time of life.
Using a visual organizer like this one helps avoid someone notgetting an email in time, that dreadful person that forgets to hit"Reply to All," double-booking and all the fun that comes with organizing something like this in general. The site is easy to use and navigate and it’s totally free which is a nice perk. Best of all, it avoids confusion at a time when you should be happy to be helping someone out, not dealing with the stresses of organizing it all.
Now all you have to do is make sure that your friends check Food Tidings on a daily basis and you’ll be golden!

Actually, we send out a reminder email to the email address for each person who signed up the day before they are to bring the meal, so hopefully no checking required
