Actress Helena Bonham Carter totes her cape-wearing daughter Nell, 9 months, on the set of partner Tim Burton’s version of Alice in Wonderland, currently filming in Cornwall, UK.
The film — a mix of live-action and CGI — will be released in March 2010 and features Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter.

I can’t wait for this film as well.
I’m a huge TIm Burton fan, have been since 1993 when Nightmare Before Christmas came out.
And I’ve been a Johnny Depp fan for a while.
By far the best team in film. Can’t wait for this project.

Little Nell is absolutely adorable and I especially like her cape.
A few weeks ago they were auditioning for extras for this film near where I live (auditions were in Plymouth, Devon).

I figured the cape was just an cute/maybe a little eccentric outfit for her. I mean, the family does have a distinct style. Nell is adorable!

It’s definitely a costume for the film. London’s Daily Mail ran the same photo, but you could see Billy Ray behind them dressed in a black velvet Edwardian boy’s outfit – the look on his face is priceless!
I don’t know what I love more, Nell’s chubby cheeks or her chubby legs!

You may be right that the baby will be in teh movies, but it’s possible she won’t. Helena likes to dress in this kind of clothes for daily life so it’s possible that she will dress her baby the same way

Nell might be the baby that turns into a piglet on Alice’s arms.
I don’t really care for this movie (I have the feeling Johnny Depp has been playing the same character since Edward Scissorhands and Sweeny Todd was way disappointing for me) but my daughter will be very happy when I tell her a live action of Alice in Wonderland is coming.She has been Cheshire cat for halloween for the past 2 years.
