terri- Are you suggesting that Jennifer Garner keep Violet cooped up at home all the time? When we see her out with Violet, she is just living her life, taking her child to places that “normal” parents take their kids (the park, the library, the farmer’s market, etc.).

I wanna add too that I would love to see little Max and Emme out and about, but I’m very glad that Jennifer keeps her kids from that type of exposure.

There is nothing at all wrong with her talking about how she’s invloved with her babies. The press is the one asking.

I’ll tell you what’s terrible, putting her kids out there for the constant daily papparazzi mania. I think it’s really bad that little Violet and some other kids are exposed to the cameras daily. That’s not good at all. But people seem to love Jennifer Garner so it’s always cute that she does that and it means she’s such a great mom.

Please that has to be horrible for a kid.

I know what you mean, Nina,it is like she is trying just a bit too hard to be believable. No, really I do just chuck my kid in a playpen and we don’t have nannies or anything, look how cool and down to earth I am. No-one is suggesting she is a bad parent but she seems to be overcompensating a lot in interviews. Although I wouldn’t like to lump these two together, I get the same feeling from Kate Moss. When she talks about Lila she stresses how heavily involved she is in her life, but when I get the tube to work every morning she is in the London newspapers, falling out of clubs, at festivals, fashion parties and events across the world. It all doesn’t quite add up. That said, my friend works at her daughters school and said she did come to Parents Evening so she obviously is involved, but probably not to the extent that she would like us to beleive. I think it is just a bit of a contradiction if a celeb is happy to discuss the contents of every nappy with a magazine but is never pictured with their children.

Nina I totally agree with you, it’s almost like she feels she constantly has to talk about how involved she is. Jen garner, salma hayek, gwen stefani, katie holmes and the list goes on and on seem very hands on, you don’t have to talk about it 24/7. I like to see pics of her with the babies once in awhile too instead of just at fashion shows or events

Not to be negative but she talks an awful lot about how involved she is w/ the twins. I would love to be a fly on the wall in that house to see it for myself.

Oh i’d love to see the updates on those precious babies, they must be looking more and more like Jen and Marc. Hopefully we will see them soon with all the regards to the privacy of the family
