24 star Marisol Nichols may be used to beating the clock on her television show, but never expected her baby to as well! Nevertheless, daughter Rain India Lexton was born four days early, arriving at 2:18 a.m. this morning, Tuesday, September 30th. Rain, who weighed in at 7 lbs, 5 oz, is the first child for Marisol and her husband Taron Lexton. In a statement, the couple shared,

"We are all doing great. She is beautiful and gorgeous and more amazing than we ever imagined."

Marisol, 36, announced the pregnancy and sex of the baby in May, celebrating her baby shower in August. She also participated in a CBB-exclusive interview while expecting. Marisol’s due date had been this coming Saturday, October 4th.

Congratulations to the couple! I could always see her with a girl. I bet the name suits that little girl just perfectly.

  2. phoebe Says:

What a beautiful name! I have always liked first names to be longer than middle names, so my instinct was to say that India Rain would’ve been prettier, but I love it this way. Rain India Lexton is a lovely combination.

  3. Colleen Says:

I like the names as seperates, but put together I am not sure they sound correct. I think the flow of India Rain would be better. Congrats to her anyways!

  4. Brandi Says:

Congratulations to Marisol and Taron. I for one do like the name, it has a hippie feel throughout. I am not surprised Marisol had her early, I thought she looked like she was carrying on the large side throughout her pregnancy. She’s probably happy to get her out a few days sooner!

  5. Morgan Says:

WOW! CONGRATS MARISOL AND TARON. I LOVE THE NAME RAIN INDIA. IT’S BEAUTIFUL. I THOUGHT SHE WOULD BE 9LBS. BY THE SIZE OF MARISOLS BELLY!

  6. Heather Lynn Says:

Welcome to the world Rain India! What a gorgeous name for what I’m sure is an equally gorgeous little girlie!

  7. Stephany Says:

Congrats to Marisol! I love the name. I think it flows just fine, personally. It’s very pretty!!!

  8. ames Says:

I love the name but then my daughter is called India Rose, and Rain is on my fave names list for other daughters so i am biased!

  9. Lauren Says:

I agree that India Rain would have flowed better, but the name as it is is lovely. I really like it. Congrats to Marisol and her hubby!

  10. brooklyn Says:

I love the name. I think it is funny how often we choose the first and middle names for our children based on the ’sound’ or the ‘flow’ of the two together- really though, after the child is a few months old, how often are they referred to as both names???? Just a thought. I guess ‘flow’ is the reason that there are so many little girls out there with the middle name ‘Marie!’ It is a middle name that flows so nicely with most first names:)

  11. SARA Says:

  12. Liv Says:
