Paul W.S. Anderson Ready to Add to His Family

Film director Paul W.S Anderson is enjoying fatherhood so much that he’s already thinking about expanding his family! Dad to 11-month-old daughter Ever Gabo with fiancée Milla Jovovich, Paul shares that fatherhood is "the best thing that ever happened to me" and that "three children would be ideal … but you never know once we get into the swing of it." The 43-year-old added that "we are back in Paris right now," revealing that the City of Love also served as "the city of Ever’s manufacture on Valentine’s Day last year!"

If the couple do have more children, Paul hopes that the next baby’s arrival will be a little less hectic than Ever’s was. Paul was wrapping up filming for his latest film Death Race in Canada when Milla called "in the middle of a shooting day … three days before wrap," letting him know that it was time, the director explains. "I walked off the set, got on a plane — the longest plane ride of my life — and got back to Los Angeles in time to take Milla to hospital."

"Ever was born the following morning. I spent a week with the girls and then had to fly back to Montreal to finish filming. I finished shooting at 7 a.m., got in a car to the airport and flew home. I couldn’t wait to get back to my girls."

Luckily for the first time parents, they have received lots of family help in caring for their daughter. Paul’s mom "travels and helps out with the baby when she can," as does Milla’s mother Galina. "Milla made the movie A Perfect Getaway in Puerto Rico earlier in the year, so my mum was there for the whole shoot to help with Ever," Paul reveals. Spending time with the extended family is a priority for the couple, so if members are unable to visit them, the Jovovich-Andersons don’t mind doing the traveling. "Milla, Ever and I were just in Newcastle last week to meet my nana and take Ever to see her," shares Paul.

"Family is very important to both Milla and myself, so we try and spend as much time with them as possible … it just means a lot of flying."
