"I just LOVE him and love the fact that he has turned into such a wonderful actor, partner and father. Good for him. The pic with the two of them together just melts my heart. My hubby looks at me like that still and I treasure it because some women wish they could find a good man who will still look at them the same way they did years before."

"If you ask Violet what I do, she'll say she remembers me bowing on stage when I did a show in New York, and so she'll say, 'My mom sometimes will bow on stage and sometimes she gets her hair and makeup done.' It's a great job!"

Mark Wahlberg Already Talking More Babies

LK/Flynet

Although he welcomed son Brendan Joseph just 3 ½ weeks ago, Mark Wahlberg says that if it is up to him, his family with partner Rhea Durham will only continue to grow. In a new interview with Extra, Mark, 37, notes that as the youngest of nine children, he’d like to have "as many [kids] as mommy can handle." Given Mark’s role in the equation, however, he admits that he has the luxury of advocating a ‘bigger is better’ approach to family planning.

"It’s obviously a lot easier for me. i just have to show up and be her support system."

Mark and Rhea are also parents to Ella Rae, 5, and Michael, 2 ½. Mark’s new movie Max Payne is in theaters October 17th.

I could see them with four kids. Rhea said she wanted two more after their second child Michael was born. I bet their next one will be a girl.

  2. Callen Says:

I love his approach with “as many kids as mommy can handle”, I guess men finally understand. That a bowling ball coming out of a lemon, is not the same as getting pampered at a spa.

  3. Kelly Says:

I love the “as many as mommy can handle” hes sweet

  4. Hanna Says:

    Nice approach to PARENThood.

  5. SARA Says:

Love this family! Can’t wait to see baby Brendan,I bet he’s a cutie like Ella and Michael.

  6. dsmom Says:

He is so cute! They are so great together. Im so happy that he has turned into such a great man and father.

  7. Jen DC Says:

I don’t exactly find this exchange “sweet.” When I first read it, my main point wanted to be that he has an additional luxury of being wealthy – that *certainly* makes fatherhood an easier proposition. I thought that’s where he was going with this.

It seems like a casual attitude to take, that he “just has to show up,” but then maybe it was a more casual interview. Added to my conflicted feelings about their relationship – that they chose to have children prior to preparing themselves for marriage – the whole thing seems off putting.

  8. The Writer Says:

I disagree with Mark’s comments being off-putting; I think he has a great, refreshing attitude, and he admits that it’s easier said than done when it comes to them having more kids; he can say he wants 10 kids, but he doesn’t have to actually carry or give birth to them, unlike Rhea. It’s very clear that he loves his children and that he wants more kids and to continue to grow as a family with Rhea.

  9. Rosy J Says:

Best wishes and good luck to them. They are a beautiful family.
