"My baby self weaned despite me trying to keep up the nursing! I find it so refreshing to hear Gwen talk about how hard she works to lose weight and keep herself in top shape. She looks great and has a beautiful family."

“I sit there and play princesses with my daughter, and I never told her anything about a princess, ever. Whereas I go to my brother’s house, and he’s got two boys…I walk in the front door, and I instantly get punched in the nuts.”

Sheryl Crow Says Wyatt is a ‘Total Outdoors Kid’

Sheryl Crow can’t help but note how much can change in a matter of months, now that she’s a mom. During a Friday appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, she pointed out that on her last visit, her then 10-month-old son Wyatt Steven took his first steps — in the green room! Now, at 17 months, "he is running up and down the hallways backstage," the 46-year-old songstress said. "He’s huge!" It should come as no surprise that Wyatt would be motivated to perform, since he’s a huge fan of the show. "He watches every day, and he’s got this funny little dance," Sheryl revealed.

When he’s not shaking a tail feather, Wyatt — whom Sheryl describes as a "total outdoors kid" — can often be found at his mom’s 154-acre farm in Tennessee. Her son has a special bond with horses, Sheryl said, including even a wild mustang she rescued from euthanization.

"He’s grown up around horses and I think they just have an understanding of little spirits, that they can stomp on them and hurt them…Because they are so gentle with him."
