"I just LOVE him and love the fact that he has turned into such a wonderful actor, partner and father. Good for him. The pic with the two of them together just melts my heart. My hubby looks at me like that still and I treasure it because some women wish they could find a good man who will still look at them the same way they did years before."

"If you ask Violet what I do, she'll say she remembers me bowing on stage when I did a show in New York, and so she'll say, 'My mom sometimes will bow on stage and sometimes she gets her hair and makeup done.' It's a great job!"

Coco is ‘So Confident,’ Says Courteney Cox-Arquette

Bruce Glikas/FilmMagic

In the November issue of Marie Claire, Courteney Cox-Arquette reveals that she and husband David Arquette have every intention of making their 4-year-old daughter Coco Riley a big sister someday. The 44-year-old actress — who has been open about her difficulty in maintaining a pregnancy prior to giving birth to Coco — reportedly told the magazine that the couple have frozen her eggs in their effort to have another child. That Coco has enjoyed so much undivided attention has served her well thus far in life, however, says Courteney.

"I was a shy child, and Coco is so confident. She has a lot of people loving her."

As she has gotten older, Courteney says she’s "never felt better physically." While she sometimes feels pressured to look younger than she is, she is at ease with her appearance. "Don’t get me wrong, I’ve had a baby, so there are certain things that will never be the same … But I don’t have to wear a bikini. I don’t have to wear a miniskirt."

Boy do I miss Lucy Spiller!! Dirt was an awesome show. David and Courteney are such a great pair. Coco is such a cutie pie.

  2. thekate Says:

Coco is a cutie. I don’t see either of her parents in her though….she does seem to have a little of her Aunt Patricia Arquette in her. I’d be curious to see what the next Cox-Arquette child looks like!

  3. Brandi Says:

Oh I am surprised they have frozen embryos, I really though they were done with just one child.

  4. sadie Says:

Regardless of whether they have frozen embryos or not, they should probably get a move on if they want another child – at this rate, Courtenay will be in her 60s when her next child graduates from high school.
I love Coco’s look – she’s super cute – but I don’t see any of Courtenay in her either. To me, she’s always looked more like a cross between David Arquette and Jennifer Aniston!!

I will have to pick up that issue and read about her struggle. I knew she had a hard time staying pregnant. I just wonder what finally worked. We also have that problem…10 miscarriages. We are gearing up to try IVF with PGD(pre implantation genetic diagnosis) in january or february. Hoping it will be the trick!

Coc is adorable! I really hope they get to have another baby!!

  6. Jeannie Says:

Good luck, tink. I wish you the very best.

  7. SH Says:

Sadie, Maybe they HAVE been trying to get a move on – but haven’t had any luck yet – you don’t know…

    tink1217,
I am sorry about all of your losses.
If you have had 10 m/c, it sounds like you have immune issues and will need more then PGD.
I highly recommend you see Dr. Sher. His website is http://www.haveababy.com

    Good luck Tink!

  10. Daisy Says:

My mother will be in her 60’s when my little sister leaves high school, don’t see any problem with it. If anything my mother being older for her has led to them having a more relaxed relationship than I had.
    Good luck to them.

  11. Gelareh Says:

Courteney is an amazing person, I really like her!

  12. sadie Says:

Daisy, I didn’t mean any disrespect to your mother. It’s just that I agree with Marcia Cross in that, for the most part, it’s not ideal to be having children once you get past a certain age because you just don’t know if you’re going to be around for them or able to keep up with them. Of course this doesn’t apply to everyone though.
And yes SH, maybe they have been trying or maybe they haven’t – I took the line of them having every intention of making Coco a sister “someday” as insinuating they have the intention but are not yet trying. If that is the case, yes, I think they should get going. It’s only going to be harder to fall pregnant the older she gets.

  13. Julie Says:

I never got the argument that people past a certain age shouldn’t have children, with the idea being that “well you might die and not be around to raise them.” What a ridiculous argument. Anyone can die tomorrow regardless of age. And what about the millions of grandparents raising their grandchildren, should that not be allowed? I don’t care if you are 20 or 80, if you are a loving parent, that’s what matters.
