This just made me tear up a bit.Matilda looks like the spitting image of Heath! I know that she will be fine because she seems to have such a great mom, but it still breaks my heart that she will never know her father.

dsmom, I totally agree. I welled up when I saw these, especially the second.
It’s such a tragedy, especially how Matilda will never know her father personally. At least she has the pap images and vids just showing them as a normal father-daughter duo. I knew the moment Health died, it would never have been a deliberate overdose…he just loved his baby girl so much.

I think as sad as it is that Matilda will never physically know her father she is lucky in some ways because there is so much of him left behind, interviews, movies, pictures. She can get to know who he was that way. Unfortunately she won’t grow up with him but as a celebrity child she is in a unique position of having so much of him available to her at the click of a button. Just go to youtube and type in his name and you get almost 40000 videos…I do feel sorry for her having no father but at least she has the ability to know about him in our technological age.

I still feel a twinge of sad everytime I see her looking so like her Dad.
There is one pic that I will always remember of them – she is standing with her arms around his leg and he has his hand on her head.
That pic will be how I remember her with her Dad.

I’ve never seen a little girl look so much like her dad. Matilda might have a bit of her mom’s nose, but those eyes and lips are all Heath. I’m sure he’s smiling somewhere.

why do they cut her bang so short? everyone complains about suri cruise’s bangs being too long, but i’d rather they be too long than too short and make the child look like a dunce.

Beautiful little Matilda, every pic of her brings just a little sadness and a lot of love for her because I’m reminded of her dad and how she is without him but at the same time trusting that he is watching over as she grows up. She is so adorable and he must be so proud of her.

my goodness that looks like one of my four nieces, who is actually a few weeks younger then her. They have the same hair style and slightly the same build and height. My niece also loves to dress like princesses. to cute

She is so adorable! I bet her daddy is looking down from heaven and is very happy to see how much his little girl has grown! It is so sad that he cannot be here with her, but she has a great mom who you can tell loves her with all of her heart!

this little girl will be blessed in life. she looks soo much like her beloved father…the late heath ledger, who should get the oscar for supporting role for his protrayal of the joker. it is so sad that she will never get to know her father however, her father is standing tall beside her and will be always by his side.
