French-Canadian TV presenter Julie Snyder has welcomed her second child with her partner Pierre-Karl Péladeau. Baby girl Romy was born at 9:19 a.m. on Monday, October 20th in Montreal, Canada and weighed 9 lbs. According to a statement from Julie’s rep, both mother and daughter are healthy with Pierre-Karl at their side as they enjoy their time together as a new family. Romy joins big brother Thomas, 3.
In a recent interview, Julie, 41, openly discussed her fertility struggles and revealed that Romy was conceived through in vitro fertilization. Although Julie faced the same struggle becoming pregnant with her first child, the host of Le Banquier, the Québecois adaptation of Deal or No Deal, has shared that after some time, she was able to conceive naturally. The pregnancy was announced in March.

Typo alerts — sorry! It should read “the Québecois adaptation of…” not “Québécois’ adaption”. Adaption is not even a word and there is no accent aigu on the second “e” in Québec. I’m from Montréal too!

Bravo !
She will probably be breastfeeding Romy while hosting Star Académie as she did with Thomas. I can’t wait to see her comment about that on TV !
