Huck Paisley Breaks the Baby News to Dad

Part of the fun of being pregnant for a woman is trying to come up with creative ways to tell her spouse that she is expecting. According to country singer Brad Paisley, his wife, actress Kimberly Williams-Paisley, pulled in the couple’s favorite person to help share the news — their 20-month-old son William ‘Huck’ Huckleberry. Brad explained that, "My son wakes me up every day now — he comes in when she lets him — and he comes around the bed, brings a book and gets in bed and we read a book in the morning." One morning, instead of a book, Huck was carrying something different. "[Kim] said, ‘Here, give this to daddy.’ And I saw him walk up with a pregnancy test and hand it to me. He was just all happy." Before the celebration could begin, however, Brad jokes that he needed to point out a few things to his son.
"I said, ‘No, you don’t get it. This is really bad for you and I. This isn’t gonna be fun for us for the next nine months. We’re in for it.’ But that’s how she told me, which was a great way to do it."
Brad, 35, and Kimberly, 37, expect their second child in April.

Awww, that’s so cute! I have always wanted to surprise my hubby in a fun way with the baby news. He has always been the one to tell me I was pregnant before! We are trying for number 3 right now. I am trying to keep any “symptoms” that may come up from him so that I can find a way to tell him without him expecting it.

This story reminds me of how Tori Spelling told Dean about her 2nd pregnancy- she had Liam break the news. Both stories are so cute!

When I was pregnant with my 2nd I had my son Dalton wear a t shirt I made that said Big Brother and when my hubby came home from work that night he ran out to greet him. It took him a minute to figure it out and was quite happpy!

I don’t know who this couple are, but at first glance I thought the woman was Jaime Pressly…especially when I scanned it and saw Paisley; confusing!

I love this baby’s name. We did something similar. I think it’s way cute. I do hope they keep that trend. They are an adorable family!

Thats exactly how I told my hubby we were having baby #2~! I had our daughter give him the test when he walked in from work! He was so happy!

Ruthella ~ Kim is known for her role as the daughter on the Father of the Bride movies with Steve Martin. And Brad is a country singer! Congrats to both of them, Huck is soooo cute!

Blackrose,I think Maddie said that because Hucklebbery Finn was the friend of Tom Sawyer in the famous novel,so Huck and Sawyer would be great names together!
