Mamma’s Milk: Pouches That Make Mothering Easier

I simply could not survive as a mother without baby carriers. I have used (and continue to use) all kinds of carriers. So it is without hesitation that I can say that the stylish carriers from Mamma’s Milk are a great addition to any carrier collection. I recently tested out their Cotton Baby Sling ($55) in the beautiful Metamorphose pattern and a Khaki Solarveil Baby Sling ($55). They come in many wonderful patterns, are easy to use and keep babies happy by keeping them close to you.

One key feature of their cotton slings is that they can be adjusted using hidden velcro panels. I’ll admit — for some reason it took me a little while to figure out how to do it, but once I did, it fit perfectly and was very comfortable for both me and my daughter. This was a major benefit because I’ve found that many pouches canbe too tight or too baggy if you don’t get the perfect size. (They also offer non-adjustable slings for $35.)

The Solarveil Baby Sling is great to have on-hand over the summer — it even has an extra flap of fabric to protect baby from the sun. But it’s also extremely handy for showering when my daughter doesn’t want to be without me which is pretty much all the time these days!

Used by too many celebrity moms and dads to name (Samantha Harris, Ali Landry, Chris Noth and Jodie Sweetin are but a few), Mamma’s Milk pouches have been in the media spotlight many times.
