Recovering Travis Barker Steps Out with Alabama
INF |
While in the hospital recovering from burns received in a plane crash that killed four others, rocker Travis Barker blogged, "I can’t wait to get out of here and be home with the babes." He’s gotten his wish, as he was photographed Thursday taking 2 ½-year-old daughter Alabama Luella to Marmalade Cafe.
Although still recovering from injuries to his right hand and lower body, Travis was released from the burn center late last week.

How wonderful to see him with Alabama. He has such a beautiful family and seems like such a great dad that it’s just lovely to see him back on his feet. Best wishes to him for a speedy continuing recovery.

So a beautiful photo. It’s been so good to see him and DJ AM back out and about in public. I can’t imagine what either of them have been through or what their recoveries (both mental and physical) will entail… but I sure do know that holding that little girl again had to have been on his mind the entire month he spent in the hospital.
It’s so good to see him with his kids again :O)

Oh I’ve been waiting to see him with the kids!
It must have driven him mad to be away from them for so long.
He’s such an amazing Dad!

I remember when I heard about the crash and how he was in critical condition. I couldn’t believe it! I’m so glad he’s made a quick recovery and is back with his kids.

God bless travis and dj am, I am glad they are recovering and are alive. Travis seems like a sweet guy, and a great daddy. Sweet picture of him with Alabama, he is so lucky to be around to see his children grow.

What a wonderful recovery he’s made. I’m proud of Travis. His parenting skills are exceptional and I smile each time I see a picture of him and his children.

What a beautiful thing. To see him with his child … it just reminds you how precious life is, and how we really need to appreciate each other while we’re here.

Love Travis Barker – seems like such a great guy in interviews. A tragedy that story was, but a miracle as well … great to see him out, and snuggling with his little girl.

If you see the video that went with this pic, the reporter asks if he is still in pain..it was so obvious he was as he could barely walk!
I hope Travis has a speedy recovery physically, but I’m sure in his mind this will last forever.

This is such a great picture. A couple months ago, I wouldn’t have thought twice about it. But now, it seems almost as if Travis and Alabama are clinging to each other. He seems like such a great dad, and I’m so glad that he’s still here for his kids.
God bless!
