Geri Halliwell Grateful For Family and Friends
Kevin Perkins/Pedro Andrade/Pacific Coast News |
There’s no place like home for Geri Halliwell. The 36-year-old Spice Girl, mom to 2-year-old Bluebell Madonna, tells the Daily Express that unlike some of her bandmates, she has no intentions of leaving her native England for America. "I want my daughter to have an English accent because it’s really elegant," Geri explains. "Also my friends and family are nearby."
That close proximity came in handy recently when Geri fell ill and her mom was able to step in to "look after Bluebell." Having people she can depend on is "really important to me as a single parent," Geri says.
